Saw him live 3 times. He demonstrated his “saloon voice” by singing a song without a microphone at Orpheum Theater, San Francisco…
heard every word in the balcony!
Tony was the only famous person I’ve ever met in my life. Back when I was about 10, around 1960. Grew up hearing him in the background, on the radio, everywhere, so part of all our lives. RIP, Tony, and thank you.
I’m so excited I started cryptocurrencies back then because it was a game changer for me and was my best decision so far all thanks to the cryptocurrency world
What a wonderful crooner. Grew up listening to him. RIP
ReplyWe will miss you, Tony. Thanks for the beautiful music.
ReplyHe truly was a legend

ReplyAn era of irreplaceable grace and elegance is fading out. There are so very few left. It breaks my heart.
ReplyNo one was better at taking a song and making it his own.. he was a master and he will be missed.. RIP Tony
ReplyTony treated each song with such care and honor. Listening to him sing a song felt like he was giving you a gift, just for you, with love.
