ReplyI love Jordan and what he’s done for our general awareness and mirth since the 2016 political campaigns. But he seems uncomfortable with this TDS-format (sitting down and reading satire) instead of interacting and spontaneously talking and splicing. The rhythm of the writers is too noticeable and is the same for all of the moderators (comedians) and doesn’t work well for him. He (and the team) should re-think a new format for his spontaneity instead of offering a tried-and-true format which everyone knows, already. At least John Oliver (when he does this, too) doesn’t wait for applause (apple-sauce) during his monologue – so that it’s different enough (and brilliant). My penny.
