    Furthermore most expiration dates are not when the food expires, but rather when the company is willing to ensure that food as edible.
    Due to not wanting lawsuits and not wanting to take any losses, companies put expiration dates earlier than the food actually expires.
    This is, obviously, not true of fresh vegetables and fruits…
