Aloe Blacc knows a thing or two about the unfairly small profit that musicians make from streaming services. He calls the integrity of the music streaming industry into question with The Daily Show-exclusive remix to his hit song “I Need A Dollar.” #DailyShow #AloeBlacc #Streaming

Wow, this is a dope song. Is it on Spotify?
ReplyTidal!
ReplySo does he get the YouTube revenue for the views on this video or what?
ReplyHey! Hey!
ReplyIf you want to support a musician or artist. Go onto their socials and see what and how they’re selling their music and what else they sell. Usually they’ll have merch or their music in a format you can buy it straight from them. I myself am testing out Gumroad to sell things on and you as the artist get actual money instead of streaming cents! 🙂
ReplyIt sound more like a lable disstrack to me.
ReplyI like this song. I wonder what it’s about.
ReplyNow you’re not getting paid for this remix on YouTube
ReplyHe’s the man
ReplyWhere do you buy music where the artists make the money?
ReplyThey are million-billion dollar companies because they do not share. On a side note as an Army, it hit me that our babies actually do sell – cd, vinyl and cassette… testimony to how much Bangtan pushes against gatekeeping. I have spotify, apple music, youtube music yet will still support them through physicals because their Music really is the background track of my life. Make Music that resonates with fans and you win at life.
ReplyThis man is too talented as well as a lot of different artists, to be getting hosed like this.
ReplyImma just buy the album just cuz my bad homie I stream a lot now
ReplyI had no idea, typical, artists get exploited while everyone else makes money from their talent.
