My tribute to Anton Yelchin: Anton, you were a really fun presence in the
movies that I’ve seen you in (Star Trek ones) and your acting prowess was
well spoken of by movie critics and fans alike. You were described as
incredibly humble and grateful, and that’s something the people that speak
of you reinforce a lot. You will surely be missed, my man. You were just a
cool f*cking dude, and I raise a glass to you. Rest In Peace, brother.

Zachary Quinto has such a beautiful way with words. I’m so sorry for the
Star Trek family’s loss. R.I.P. Anton Yelchin.

It sucks so bad that Anton Yelchin died. I loved him in Star Wars and the
Odd Thomas movie. In Futurama terms, I feel bad for whoever has to become
his Welshie for the next Star Trek movie.

Colbert likes the new Star Trek. “How good Sci-Fi can be”. This makes me
    sad. And angry.

I’m not gonna lie and pretend i really knew who Anton was as i’ve only just
really started to get into the new Star Trek movies but it’s still so sad.
RIP buddy. P.S: I know Quinto was probably still feeling down about it in
this interview but his voice is awesome and he seems so chilled out!

I’ve never hated the reboot movies. while the old stuff is more
classifiable as “star trek”, I have to remember that this new stuff got me
into the franchise. I had a hard time watching tng at first because it just
looked too cheesy. whenever I try to get someone into star trek, I tell
them to do the reboots, then enterprise to ease them into classic trek like
    tng and the others
