“I thought I was on the east coast of Nova Scotia but I was on the west coast of Nova Scotia”
Literally most of Nova Scotia’s coast is south, but whatever. Western coast is near Maine. Eastern is where Kiefer Sutherland’s first movie lead was (look it up). Western is closer to where Kiefer’s dadd-ah once lived. Sorry, I just made you all work for knowledge. 🙂

I’d love it if they really all came together and recorded a commentary for The Shawshank Redemption.
It’d be great just putting on the movie and having the cast looking back at it from all those years again, while Stephen sees it the first time with virgin eyes. I’d pay to have that

Morgan Freeman was trying to sail to Cape Breton (East Coast of Nova Scotia). LOL. Good thing most of the Racists died off. That used to be one of the more racist parts of Canada not too long ago. Television; Movies and Hip-hop changed that.

And his own favorite films are those in which he worked with Clint Eastwood. Can’t argue with you there. And if you haven’t seen INVICTUS, do so. He plays Nelson Mandela.

We in NZ aren’t such big fans of Invictus. It was very mysterious how the All Blacks came down with food poisoning in South Africa the day of the final. That didn’t quite fit with the story for the movie though. Morgan’s performance was fantastic, I just wish the Boks win wasn’t without that controversy. For my fellow Americans, I am talking about Rugby. Like Football but not lame. Ha!

I’m amazed by his attention to detail on his sailings. Finding himself on the unexpected side of Nova Scotia with a sextant and in an October storm between Bermuda and NY on a 30 footer. That takes balls.

Why does every old person’s story from the 60’s/70’s start with “some guy said do you want to -blank-” and that’s how I became a turtle wrestler for the next 50 years of my life… Like … Life back then must have been wild…

Holy shit Colbert. You remind me of a guy I knew when I was young. He had decided that the first time he would smoke pot would have to be a special occasion like with his first girlfriend, or at graduation or whatever. I told him to forget all that nonsense and just light up. So get Shawshank and watch it already and quit being a pussy about it.

Hey Stephen, why have you not mentioned anything about the atrocities happening in Gaza? I honestly expected someone of your integrity to actually speak the truth about this and support the Palestinians , but so far only John Oliver has done this. As a someone who is devout Christian and someone that speaks the truth I expected more from you. I did not know you were a coward and fake person.

I have a tendency of looking up celebrities to see if they are nice people. I found that eight women accused Freeman of inappropriate bahavior, and eight individuals did say that they witnessed inappropriate behavior from him (witnesses). For example, one woman said that he kept trying to lift her skirt, and another actor, Alan Arkin, actually told him to stop. It’s disappointing.
