Now I see why Wynton is the bad-ass. I’ve always respected his playing but wanted to say, “Pick a genre, please…” But he does grok both sides of the coin. Put THAT in your horn and smoke it. Maybe you’ll be as good as this cat someday.

Listen to Billy talent. It’s not all about what, why or who to hate. It’s about how you feel as to you are, being hated upon .

What I don’t understand about police shootings are why they don’t treat them the same way they would any other firearm incident. If the officer involved was justified that would come out in any proper investigation. For me, whether a police officer should be convicted for shooting someone should be the same as it would be for any regular citizen, if it was justifiable self-defence then you shouldn’t have any issue getting a jury of your peers to acquit the case. I bet police would be more restrained with their weapons if they knew there would be a proper investigation instead of having implied immunity.

I find it difficult to speak to people who only listen to pundits, don’t read books, and even when it comes to something like a yahoo article skip reading go straight to the comments section to find someone to insult.

The evil is the group that is in the streets spreading violence and hate. It is not being done on BOTH sides.

God, it sounds like Bill had no idea who this guy was until this awkward conversation. What a joke.

Working in a supermarket I understand how frustrating it is to stop talking about EVERYTHING. Can’t talk about masks, news, politics, anything. It would be great to be able to have a conversation again. Not in anger, not to divide, but to come together, maybe see things in a different light.
