Physicians life spans are 7 years less than everyone else due to stress and getting shorter. Same with pharmacists and other healthcare workers. It’s getting worse. Wow…I can’t believe it took them this long to figure out stress kills.

I’ve been working 80+ hours the last couple weeks. Finally just had a day off in over 22 days and of course my boss ask me if I’m working on my one day off for the week.🤨

Problem is not with the working hours. It’s with people’s inability to handle their stress. Nowadays ppl get stressed for almost everything. Adding to the worry of social media too.

I used to work in public accounting and pull 95+ hours in a week was commonplace.
I left the job at 26 and was balding and 35 pounds heavier than I had ever been. A few years after leaving and working a job that caps be at 60 hours a week had most of my hair back and the weight was gone

It’s almost as if Chinese style labor camps are a bad idea. Too bad Republicans think livable wages and sustainable capitalism are somehow terrible.

End forced labor. We don’t need to work this much. Let people rest. Let people live

Land lords should quit their “jobs”
    Property hoarding should be illegal
    Rent is extortion
    Homelessness is violence

Between long hours in construction and long drives and then trying to get out of it (wherehouse work) and still doing 70-80 hour weeks, I am COMPLETELY messed up right now!! Major health issues as I didn’t have the time to properly take care of myself and often went through drive thru for food. I missed out on so many relationships because I couldn’t be there enough. And yet Americans pride themselves into working themselves to death, SMH.

56 hours a week, 7 days. Can’t get up when my alarm goes off. Can’t keep track of what day it is. They can still mandate us more hours, and we don’t have any guaranteed days off.

With office jobs it makes sense as you are sitting around.

I work 50+ hours but I am on my feet walking almost the whole time (mailman)

Probably still not ideal for the body but not in the and way as a jobs that you sit all day. I don’t think I’ve had a 40 hour or less week since 2017
