ReplyVive Wally!!!! Good stuff!
ReplyWAH-LEE!!! WAH-LEE!!! WAH-LEE!!!
ReplyBest. Guest. Ever.
Reply_This_ should have been Plan A.
ReplyJust like they dumbed down Matt LeBlanc when he played Joey, Wally is actually a damn brilliant guy.
ReplyWally was better than Bronson would have been. Sincere interviews about behind the scenes stuff is way more fun than some celebrity giving rehearsed lines.
ReplyDoing cue cards since 1990?! How do I get that kind of job security?
ReplyI need 10 Cue Cards by Wally. So cool!
ReplyLegend
ReplyYAY WALLY!!! A better and more interesting interview! My partner and I have been fascinated with Wally, Scollins, Baze and Amber all year

ReplyWally (Chris) is the best. If you ever have a chance to meet him in person, you’ll realize how truly kind and generous he is.
ReplyWe need all the Wally stories.

ReplyDid anyone else get a very slight CMOT Dibbler vibe?
ReplyThat was a lot of fun.
ReplyI watched this on the actual broadcast, but just wanted to jump on here to let you know that I loved it. Ya need to have Wally on more often.
ReplyHe ran into the door! I love Wally!
ReplyHA! I just googled Wallie like two days ago! I needed to know more, and now here we are!
ReplyYeah… this was better than an interview with Action Bronson.
ReplyLoved meeting Wally. Wonderful idea.
ReplyWALLLLLLYYYYYYYY!!!! Yes!
ReplyAction can eat all the turds. What do we want? Wally World, Dad.
ReplyThis was the best interview. learned alot about the behind the scenes stuff.
ReplyLOVE learning about Wally!! A legend!!
ReplyWE LOVE WALLY! We need more Wally on the show lol
ReplyThis interview is so wholesome and great. I totally agree 100% with @AdultishGambino’s earlier comment about the overall state of the show. It’s absolutely great!
ReplyI would love to see more crew interviews, maybe as online exclusives alongside Corrections? Just a thought… Can’t wait for the “True story of Mikey the Shoe”.
One of the best interviews!
ReplyI love this! Do more interviews with longtime Late Night contributors!
ReplyCan this be another online exclusive segment?
ReplyCan we get more interviews with the cast. Including the writers that rarely get on camera.
ReplyHe’s a very interesting guy.
Replythis is what i needed right now
ReplyYES! More real people! Celebrities are fine, but the people behind the scenes are much more interesting. Seth, you rock.
ReplyLove seeing Wally and hearing the stories
ReplyThis is exactly what I wanted to see today. Thank you for this
ReplyWally is tha Salt (of the earth) that gives this show such good flavor.

ReplyOh my goodness, what a lovely interview! To second all the other comments, more Wally please!
ReplyThis is the interview that needed to happen a long time ago. Wally is the man. Thanks letting us appreciate him.
Replyno joke, more interesting, fresh, insightful, far better than a lot of the “celebrities” you get. This was good. Thanks! Wally: LEGEND!
ReplyThis was awesome; I’ve always wanted to meet the Wizard of Oz (Oz being NBC) and now I know more about the magic behind SNL, the Amber Ruffin Show, and Late Night! This was a great interview!
ReplyHave you done a sketch with Wally’s where you put him into the Movie Love Actually in the place of Andrew Lincon. That would be fun.
ReplySeriously who cares about action bronson when wally is here
ReplyThree cheers for Wally!
ReplyBehind the scenes people have all the stories. Actors just talk about their kids.
ReplyIf this had happened a month earlier, I would have had enough time to ask for a cue card for my 65th birthday!
ReplyI honestly have no idea who that Action guy is, but I am so glad he didn’t show up and Wally replaced him. Not only was it a great interview, but I learned something that changed my whole view of SNL. Every time I’ve seen someone obviously reading the cue cards, I thought they were just bad at memorizing their lines. I had no idea that they were supposed to be reading the cue cards and not memorizing. I mean, they still had the problem of reading them too obviously, but still…
ReplyThat was actually helpful. I make homemade videos for a blog and have mini scripts that I print out for myself and always wonder if I should get a teleprompter.
ReplyYes! More Wally please!!!
ReplyHow DARE you not have Wally on every Wednesday, Seth! THE PEOPLE WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS.
ReplyThe show staff > celebrities
ReplyWally was amazing better than some of your other guests.
ReplyThis was awesome.
ReplyInterview the rest of the staff and tell stories about working together, this is brilliant
ReplyWally was a very interesting guest. Great conversationalist. What an interesting business and work he does.
Reply*Late night is giving jobs to more people than any gov, first time I saw the thumbnail I didn’t recognize Wally*
ReplyNothing against Action, I don’t know much about him, but I guarantee you I enjoyed this more than whatever his interview would have been.
ReplyThis was one of the best interviews ever.
Replyu should interview your whole staff
