(Original airdate: 05/17/02) Bob Goulet, aka Will Ferrell, emerges from a whale costume and treats the “Late Night” audience to a song. Watch more classic clips @ http://conanclassic.com.
I love at the end when the audience starts to applaud and Will is just like “hold on, hold on, big finish!”
If Ron Burgundy were a singer
Will characters/impressions are full of class, panache, and suave. Robert Goulet, Neil Diamond, Ron Burgundy. Classin it up since the 90’s.
This ain’t Will Ferrell. Its Ron Burgundy. Y’all clueless
That is some SERIOUS Genius at *Conan’s 50th Anniversary.*
“No kid… trust me, you got talent… Now Bob Goulet, THAT’S not talented!!!”
Bobby Goulet LIVES!!!! He lives!!!!
Saw Loverboy perform this song at a Sonoma winery. I think they shoulda used Goulet’s orchestration.
Damn….now I can’t get that Loverboy song out of my head!😂
Love classic Conan.
Will does such great impersonations. Phil Hartman did a great Frank Sinatra. It would have been awesome to see them perform as Goulet and Sinatra.
Hilarious now how about Will Ferrell doing Robert Goulet with a cowbell in his song?🙂
Yep, Jordan was right about his face in 02.
I really needed this flashback today. Thank you Will, Conan and crew
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of hilarity.
Ron Burgundy is such a talented dude, his commitment to staying in character as “Will Ferrell” for so long is just incredible. And now I find out he’s “Will Ferrell” as “Bob Goulet”? Amazing. I also love his GWB impression, especially when he breaks character and goes into full “Will Ferrell” mode.
This was perfect to eat an omelette with
Hey, is he (Will) a satanist pedophile? Serious question.
Who the hell dislikes such a gem!?
