If you want more people to volunteer for the military stop your endless wars. Stop supporting the military industrial complex. People with fight for their country for the right reasons not for weapons industry.

According to Carter, the bulk of the military gets recruited from only 6 states. Pray tell: might those be the same states currently cracking down on abortion? Guess that’s one way to assure “voluntary” future enlistment, eh?

So weird, Sec. Ash says we need to pick people for the military that have the best qualifications for this job. That would mean not admiting transgender people in the military, because those people statistically suffer from high levels of anxiety, depression, high suicide rate. Those are the most qualified people, the best candidates for the army? Me thinks not. Btw, I appreciate the tactfulness of the secretary in addressing Trump. He says he doesn’t approve of Trump’s behavior. Of course, most of us don’t and think the president could be classier in his conduct, but Ash also says this has nothing to do with Trump’s policies. I don’t like Trump as a person, but I do support his policies, which so far generated a great amount of wealth for the country in terms of GDP, job growth, less let-offs, higher salaries, tackling the border crisis, abandoning the ludicrous Iran deal, and these things benefit white and black people, latinos, and all other ethnicites.

Is it common for people in the American government to keep their titles after they stop doing the job?

Yes the American military is the best because it has better people than all the other armies of the world. Don’t mind the fact that the US is the country that spends the highest proportion of its budget in the military, the most in terms of sheer amount and more than the next 25 combined, 24 of which are American allies. It’s the quality of the people, not the ludicrous budget, only the fact that Americans are naturally better than the entire world.

Sure, give that notoriously emotionally stable group guns. What’s the worst that can happen?

The guy is defination of gentlemanly behaviour, carries himself, his work, his country with such dignity. More American should learn from both these gentlemen.
