Lol Sam celebrates the Squad and Justice Democrats but continually disrespected Bernie Sanders. Oh the irony. Talk about identity politics.

Pleasant thoughts to Sam and all the progressives. Here’s to a better future with a toast with my whisky – it’s smooth like I hope our future will be.

What this guy doesn’t say is that they won by a landslide in safe blue districts. The moderates were campaigning in swing states or red districts/states, and likely lost or underperformed due to the Republicans using “the Squad” as political attacks. Until JD are flipping seats, their opinions on campaigns are irrelevant in anywhere but the bluest districts.

So grateful you did this segment. Us Progressives are sick & tired of being vilified by both parties. Americans don’t want incrementalism – we want real & substantive change. Go Justice Dems!

progressives win because they run in super blue districts that would vote for a toaster if it had a D next to its name on the ballot. talk to me when a progressive wins a swing or red district. justice democrats are the reason democrats are gonna lose the house and never win the senate again

“… the concentration of wealth is natural and inevitable and is periodically alleviated by violent or peaceable partial redistribution. In this view all economic history is the slow heartbeat of the social organism, a vast systole and diastole of concentrating wealth and compulsive recirculation.”
―Will & Ariel Durant, The Lessons of History

“If machines produce everything we need, the outcome will depend on how things are distributed. Everyone can enjoy a life of luxurious leisure if the machine produced wealth is shared, or most people can end up miserably poor if the machine owners successfully lobby against wealth redistribution. So far, the trend seems to be toward the second option, with technology driving ever increasing inequality.”
    ―Stephen Hawking

“I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy, accompanied by an educational system which would be oriented toward social goals.”
    ―Albert Einstein, “Why Socialism?” https://monthlyreview.org/2009/05/01/why-socialism/

“Thus, it is a political axiom that power follows property. But it is now a historical fact that the means of production are fast becoming the monopolistic property of Big Business and Big Government. Therefore, if you believe in democracy, make arrangements to distribute property as widely as possible.”
― Aldous Huxley, Brave New World Revisited

“moderate” dems lost in swing districts that they barley won in 2018 this idea that progressives are winners because of their policies and not because they run in districts that are already blue is just ridiculous

Moderate/ establishment Democrats have been largely scared into submission by decades of red baiting. Republicans cry ‘radical left’ more often then a stereotypical college age SJW calls someone racist. Democrats tried to makes themselves so tame, moderate they couldn’t be called radical, but as it turns out, all it takes for a Democrat to be called a Marxist these days is to breath. Democrats like Biden is about as middle of the road and milk toast as a Democrat can get, yet Republicans hyped him up as a figure of a Marxist takeover.
All watering down your policies does is take you seem disinterested in your bases own ideals, while signaling weakness to your opposition.

Progressives are the future and the energy of the party. Status quo Dems keep ignoring progressives at their own expenses. They’ll go vote somewhere else.

Just a reminder that in 2016 Sam was AGAINST Bernie and the progressives and was supporting HRC and now she’s on the Squad train who are all Bernie people and support Bernie’s policies…
