Self harm and blackouts are the best parts of drinking. It’s like time travel and when you come to, there’s a mystery to solve about all of the injuries. One of these days I’ll grow the nuts to pull the trigger and finally check out.

This guy is way funnier than you might assume at first glance. One of those sleeper-cell comedians.

In my case there wasn’t some crazy event. I stop drinking simply because not being able to perform certain congnitive tasks stopped interesting me. At that time I had a job that requires to process a lot of data and even on a third day after “couple of beers” I could tell that my speed of these tasks is lower. It was in 2018. But I had friends who had to go through crazy stories like waking up at public places in trunks.

why is it people that stop drinking are praised, but people that never really drink in the first place are looked at as weird and criticized.

This shows how great Conan is as a perfect interviewer. He’s able to be respectful and humorous at the same time. What sets him apart is he lets the guest speak
