Patti LuPone returns to The Late Show for a fascinating conversation that centers around her friend and mentor, the late Stephen Sondheim, who she lovingly describes as a “taskmaster” in rehearsals. Stick around to watch Patti perform a number from Sondheim’s musical, “Company.” #Colbert #CompanyBroadway #PattiLuPone

ReplyIt is so important that we surround ourselves with people who will make us better. It is also important that we be open to the process of becoming better. Leaders of industry always espouse how surrounding themselves in such a fashion has propelled them through their careers. Patti thank you for sharing this part of your grief in the loss of your dear friend. Also, thank you for sharing your strength of character and your gift with the world.
