ReplyI have no idea why Bill prefaced the question by calling it an “impossible question”. Why? Because there are no good answers? The answer is simple. If a cop doesn’t do his job and it resulted in severe consequences, it’s clearly negligence on the part of someone whose responsibility it was to save lives. You fuckin’ fire them.

ReplyMan here’s one thing I’m confused about. Here’s the elephant in the room. We spent the last 3 years saying cops are racist. Parts of the country defunded them. Violence went up after Covid and lockdowns the riots happened and people just got bailed out and bail reform hit and violent offenders just hit the streets that had no business being out there. Crime is up and as Bill said in a previous show its brazen. At the same time we didn’t just try to reform cops we just sh#$t all over them. And a ton of good officers really good officers quit. And so this is what you end up with. The bottom of the barrel. Why is anyone suprised? Who in there right mind in this social climate would want to be a cop? No frikkin way I’d ever let my kids be one. For what your paid it’s not worth the risk with all the violence out there. So you cant get quality people to be a cop and you end up with what’s left. You get what you hire sub par quality. You don’t have to bootlick cops and we should be critical of there performance. But nothing is going to change until you hire great people and that’s not happening without better pay and better training. If you want gun laws and guns banned then you need the best police security and military to protect you you can. As Denzel Washington said in the movie man on fire the service will be on par with the pay. That appears to be what’s happening

ReplyI’ve been a tactical medic attached to both SWAT and the national guard who has gone through years of training. I can’t for the life of me think of what those officers were doing by delaying going in. At the same time I’ve actually been in situations where bullets are flying and it’s a completely different situation with lots of confusion and different reports coming in. That being said, kids getting murdered requires immediate intervention
ReplyWould you run into a room with a gunman with an AR-15? Maybe these guns are too powerful for the police to contain. Unbelievable that an 18 year can purchase a firearm that out powers the police. That is the problem.
ReplyWe don’t want the cops to do anything we need them outside to make the arrest or a coroner to put them in a bag .armed citizens will handle business. It’s how it started and it’s how it will end.
ReplyDoes the media really kiss the butts of the cops? Every time an officer does anything the media craps on them. The good guys have been demonized and the bad guys are deified. If the officers had gone in the media would have blamed them for the kids who were killed before they got to the scene.
ReplyThe police never protects and serves the citizen, it protects and serves the state, doesn’t matter if it’s a dictatorship, or a democracy.
ReplyAt the end of the day, it is finally the real difference between a soldier and a cop. While one group are willing to pay the ultimate sacrifice whenever they’re called upon; the other are taught that there is nothing more dear in this world than their own lives. And as a result, they shoot first and ask questions later when ever presented with anything vaguely threatening, and cower in fear of their own lives when presented with something actually threatening.
ReplyAs police we aren’t paid to risk our lives anymore. The individuals who risk their lives for others are gone, those individuals cannot get hired because they refuse to accept the political responsibility.
I wouldn’t have ever been hired as a cop 20 years ago. But today I’m perfect as I check the right boxes, nothing more is needed.
I get paid to do nothing. And I’m not going to put my life at risk.

ReplyIt wasn’t 40 minutes those thin yellow line cowards waited, it was about 1 hour 20 minutes per their own statements. Shooter knew exactly which door to casually on camera go to when they are usually all locked, which is Law for all schools nationwide during operational hours..Police beating, tazing, cuffing parents on video, while some of Police snuck in and grabbed their own kids and left.The whole story stinks with lie after lie and refusal to cooperate from the Uvalde Police. They absolutely could have stopped the whole thing in that tiny ass town, they chose to allow it. Then that dipshit Commander and supporter of gun grabber poser Beto, behind closed doors during this whole fucking thing gets elected/voted in on the city council? Wtf?? Now, somebody ask about the grooming FBI Agents that were in on this with both Buffalo and Uvalde shooters in the chats. Not a joke, look into it. The timing of all this shit is too suspect. JFC, people act like this government doesn’t have a history of this bullshit that’s documented. Ask why the military plane was in data gathering pattern over the area at the very beginning of the whole ordeal and verifiable. Call it what you will, it’s time to wake up about everyone being manipulated all the way around. It’s not tin foil when the info is directly from them, from media there, from witnesses. There’s not this much coincidence in the world to make this whole thing make legit sense. Sorry, I’m calling bs and I’m not into the loony conspiracy stuff. ReplySomebody needs to inform Bill that the police do not protect citizenry they protect and serve the public meaning government property… When that happened is when we (citizens) started being seen as combatants.
