ReplyI was once at a concert in a small venue and ended up sharing a small round table with a woman I didn’t know. She took a trip to the loo, and when she came back she took a five-dollar bill out of her purse, put it on the table and slid it over to me. When I looked at her confused, she said it was for watching her stuff, to which I could only reply “Kindness is its own reward.” I find it sad that she didn’t seem to understand that.
