The reason any gun control has happened in this country is when the cops are outgunned, Tax stamps on Full auto, 1934 to curb the increase in firearms criminals had that outgunned the police, The Brady Bill for background checks, because the Presidents Secret Serviceman was shot in an assassination attempt, the 1994-2004 assault weapons ban (that did not stop the north hollywood shootout in 1997, the supreme court states the police have no duty to protect a citizen, yet we create laws to protect the police not the people.

We need to model gun culture after Switzerland, instead of warrior worship and glorifying violence. The greatest war hero in American history, Alvin York, was a pacifist and anti war, yet his violence of action is the only part of his story that is promoted.
