Stephen gets to know Eric Adams, the next mayor of New York City, a man who stays up late, gets up early, and is determined to change the way the city deals with thorny issues like policing and inequality. Stick around for part two of Stephen’s interview with the fascinating city leader. #Colbert #NYC #MayorEricAdams
He has proved to be a good politician by winning this election, but we know he has not always been upfront and forthright, but lets wait and give him a chance. However I don’t have much expectations. Just hope he remains just as bad as the present one, and not worse!
ReplyMay be slick in presenting himself, but he is advocating to bring back Stop and Frisk, No knock warrants and warrantless surveilance.
ReplyHe seems really cool.
ReplyI CANT STAND Bill de Blasio but this dude is a flake
ReplyI want to hear how he will help schools be better places to learn. I like what I see on the surface but please don’t be the guy that just throws the blame at schools without having a way to make them better too. Schools are in crisis due to severe teacher shortages. It’s hard to fix anything in overcrowded and underfunded classrooms.
ReplySupport this official’s intent to make systemic changes!!
ReplyHe sounds like king Chadwick!!
ReplyHe is another Obama, big speeches & charisma and the people will be forgotten about.. HE is bought & paid for by Wall-Street (Just like Obama was.)
ReplyThe wealthy & corporations will be protected, the common people will get slogans & pocket change. Sad.
Jon Batiste playing “Take the A-train” is a nice touch after Eric mentioning Sugar Hill – “The fastest way to get to Sugar Hill in Harlem”
ReplyHe talks big but let’s see if he acts
Replythat energy at the end though- lol
ReplyI believe the portrait painted can be transformed into a reality lived with this man at the helm. I also note that a Supreme Court decision on the NYC gun issue could alter the flow, conditions and entry points of that there river. Mr. Eric Adams projects a formidable, inspired and insightful presence capable of manifesting greatness inspite of the inevitable obstacles, foreseen or otherwise, that undoubtedly await his arrival.
ReplySurprised you have Adams on…and not the BLM leader who has promised riots, fire and bloodshed.
ReplyFuture POTUS I say
