“Coming this Christmas to a theater near you… the most horrifying film to hit the screen….”
ReplyWhat a legend!! Dude is playing the record label executive turning down HIMSELF in a movie they made about HIM. Been a fan since the 80s, keep it up you weirdo
ReplyWhy hasnt this man written a film starring Jim Carey, Mike Myers, Will Ferrell & Steve Carell. The ULTIMATE comedy movie.
ReplyWeird Al looks like Mark Cuban after years of LSD
ReplyAl doesn’t care. As in he does what he likes, but with respect when others are crass. Performing a show every age group can enjoy. He is an entertainer. A great one.
Al downplays it, Kurt Cobain said when Al did his parody he knew he made it.
ReplyIf you think Weird Al should be inducted into the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame, LIKE this comment!
Replythe parody king
ReplyI just realized Weird Al is the alternate personality of John Lithgow.
ReplyWhen I first saw the trailer, I had almost completely forgotten about the parody trailer on FoD all those years back. After a few seconds of the trailer, it was clear that they just made the fake trailer into a movie, which is the most brilliant idea ever. I was so thrilled to see Eric Appell, as mentioned the director, still out there grinding every day for these.
As a once-I-tried-for-like-six-months-but-eventually-gave-up-because-i-was-bad filmmaker, I always struggled with my writing and making things “believable”, which is why I so envy the idea of “Oh hey, lets just make it up!”.
With very little original content coming out these days, it is so nice to see a brand new story being told, even if it is incredibly fake.
Replywonderful!
ReplyThat one small talk about potential awards in the future for this, WAY hopes for a Razzie.
ReplyLMAO classic Al, never change my guy.
My brothers and I never laughed harder than watching UHF! We still talk and laugh about that movie all the time, dude smashed the mold!
ReplyI used to like his show in the 90s. He would do funny acting on musicians like he did a nirvana song.
ReplyNo talent, rode-the-back-of others, O2 thief.
ReplyIT SHOULD’VE BEEN BLAKE ANDERSON!! YOU START WITH THEN HAIR AND THEN GO ON TO THE ACTING ABILITIES #TIINation
