In the third part of her conversation with Stephen Colbert, CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky acknowledges that rapid antigen tests should be much more widely available at this point in the pandemic, and addresses her efforts to restore the public’s trust in the CDC after it became politicized under the former administration. #Colbert #CDC #DrRochelleWalensky
Ah yes. The previous guy. The guy who turned the CDC into the CCICOCDC: The Center for the Control of Information Coming Out of the Center for Disease Control!
ReplyTell companies what they can charge for tests? Regulate capitalism? What? No! This is ‘Murica! Profit over public health every damned day!
ReplyI have never took a test or a vaccine… not because I am opposed to them… I just don’t want to be cool…
ReplyI’m shocked to learn that Dr. Walensky exists outside of 320p webcam footage.
ReplyEighhht… 🙂
ReplyOur ‘socialist’ NHS in the UK provides tests to everyone for FREE. If you get sick you get treated for FREE.
Brits are astounded and appalled at the crazy rip-off health system in the USA.
If you’re poor you’re screwed but if you have money you’re okay. Not the sign of an advanced democracy
ReplyEveryone agrees that we dont made our day:
ReplyIf this country is gonna be saved from itself one day… it’ll be by people like the two on screen now.
ReplyOmicron is not the end of this nightmare. More variants to come yet, more changes of policy and funding needed.
ReplyThe tests need to be produced in mass, putting profit aside, and sent directly to American homes. Same with masks. There should be public places providing both these products to homeless people. The tests and masks should all be made in the USA, to provide jobs. We did this for WWI. If we can do it for war, why not to battle this pandemic?
ReplyGod Bless!
ReplyNone of it matters when half the country is going to obstruct any measures taken just to own the libs.
ReplyCovidtest costs 14 to 24 dollars per pop? In Finland and Germany they cost 4,6 to 8 euros each! And I believe it is roughly the same throughout western Europe. So once again, America is number one, just the wrong way. Thank you Stephen Colbert for giving us credible information with your guests in such an entertaining and humorous manner.
