Kamau is brave to tackle this subject and deal with all the hate coming from Cosby fanatics. It’s so dangerous to put an actor on a pedestal where you think they can do no wrong. Someone can be “America’s dad” and also be a flawed human who did very bad things.

ReplyNow and forever we have had to separate the “work” of a celebrity from their personal behavior. Apparently Charles Dickens was a horrible, philandering husband; but we still cherish his entire body of great literary work. Maybe we have to make Cosby two different personas. Separate.
