Orange man bad! Hahahahaha!
ReplyThose percentages need context for the ignorant. I’d be willing to bet that black people do not make up such sizable percentages of the area populations.
ReplyRepubs steal votes as much as they can.
ReplyWhy do we keep insisting that voting matters in the US. 90% of people in this country can’t even be bothered to be educated on issues and simply subscribe to one of the two major parties and vote the way they’re told to. That’s not citizens voting. It’s the two major parties, who are absolutely controlled by money and corporate interests, hoping they have a bigger army of mindless peasants. Whoever sways the most to their side wins.
ReplyAnd don’t even try to think outside the party lines, because you will always be outnumbered by the zombies and your vote will be ignored. Not doing what you’re told will make you irrelevant. That’s voting.
The most ironic part about that first video is that Hitler was elected.

Make voting day a NATIONAL HOLIDAY! We can do this for Washington’s birthday but not for a day that supports our continued democracy?!? Ugh!
ReplyI need a video of John saying absolutely batshit things for 10 hours straight.
ReplyI also need directions to the nearest Red Lobster.
We have a republican president and a republican speaker of the house. What do you expect
ReplyGreat segment. Yts really are the world’s sh*t stains
Replythe amendment that sorta protects guns is only the 2nd. the amendment that protects voting is… 15, 19, 24, and 26 amendments.
ReplyThe right to vote should be guaranteed in the Constitution and it is a damning indictment of our country that it isn’t. An amendment must be passed immediately. Guarantee the right to vote, make it illegal to discriminate voting based on race/gender/income/etc, guarantee the right to vote to all prisoners, automatically register all eligible voters, lower the voting age to 14, implement vote-by-mail nationwide, and institute a national voting holiday. At a MINIMUM, or else we can’t call ourselves a democracy.
ReplyThe biggest problem for me is that the people proposing these bills aren’t offering any solutions for making sure people are able to easily obtain the necessary IDs. I think showing ID should be a mandatory step to voting, but at the same time it should be free and easy to get one. Seems there should be an alternative option to a passport or drivers license. Both sides of the argument need to do better at considering other’s points of views and concerns. Wanting to ensure that elections are fair is legitimate, and wanting to ensure marginalized communities aren’t discriminated against is legitimate as well. Hopefully we can find some common ground.
ReplyIf you don’t understand voter ID is required than you shouldn’t be allowed to vote. Any chance of voter fraud should be eliminated.
ReplyI.D.s should be free if we’re requiring them to vote!
