A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends
and break all bonds of fellowship. But it is not this day. An hour of
wolves and shattered shields when the age of Men comes crashing down! But
it is not this day! This day we fight!

Not Narnia, not Harry Potter, and not even Game of Thrones can compare to
the Lord of The Rings trilogy. End of discussion.

When Jimmy said “that movie” (talking about LOTR) it hurt a little.

Every second of the Lord of the Rings is more precious than any other
recorded piece of cinema for me. Even the visual effects that were done
back then are better than what they could come up for the Hobbit. The color
grading, the visual designs, the perfect choice of cast, immaculate
direction and the most glorious score ever done for a motion picture by
Howard Shore, they all add up to form these three precious movies that
defines a masterpiece never to be achieved by another. If they do, it will
be an imitation. All I need now is for Peter Jackson to restore the deleted
scenes (even from the extended editions) like the young Aragorn and Arwen
scene and many others to form a definitive version of the movies.

I love Harry Potter, I love Star Wars, I love Pirates of the Caribbean, I
love GoT… but these three movies about Middle-Earth are the most
consistant movie-franchise of all time, and there is just something special
about them. Probably the best casting in cinematic history!! The Oscars
aren’t the same without LOTR sweeping the board ;)
