I’ve been listening to Conan, Sona and Matt for months now but never bothered to look up how Gourley looks like. Talk about the voice not matching the face 😂 Still love your stuff, dude! But I was a bit shocked that you didn’t look like you came from the fifties as Conan likes to describe your appearance 🤣👌

Edit: P.s. Sona stoned asf like usual 😂

I also grew up with Leukemia when I was in elementary school, they discovered I had it when I was five years old. I still remember all of it very vividly. I remember being in the make a wish foundation because of it, so I guess there were some benefits but it was mostly all negative for me. Going through that whole experience definitely made me view life differently at a very young age, I remember feeling like a prisoner living in the hospital and only being able to see my family a few hours a day. Going through Chemo and loosing all my hair as a child was traumatizing.

I had to go to school in the hospital, the other students were like three or four other children that were battling cancer. One day one of the kids was coughing really bad and he was taken back to his room early, the next day he didn’t show up to class, all the nurses told us he got better, made a full recovery and is back home. I actually believed it back then. As the months went on I was eventually the only child in that class.

I lived in the hospital for what felt like years and I remember being released from the hospital around the middle of second grade, I had missed so much school and the education at the hospital wasn’t necessarily equivalent to what was being taught in schools, so I was behind for a bit. I never told anyone back then, I just started a new school and kept everything to myself. I didn’t really start talking about it until recently these past couple of years.

Throughout the rest of elementary school after I got released I had to go back to the hospital, I think 3 times a weeks to continue the process for the next two years then after that I had to continue doing checkups every few months for the rest of elementary school, it’s good that I did because there was a close call when I was in fifth grade.

When I would get back home I would just stay inside and watch tv, I basically just stopped talking to people and having friends. I think towards the end of 5th grade was when I finally beat Leukemia. I got through it but elementary school was like the worst time of my life. People say high school sucks but I thought it was pretty awesome compared to my elementary school experience

it’s the same tactic youtube uses to discourage people from china hawk channels
just lowers the volume after upload
