ReplyMoscow Mitch is just moving things along so fast because he is waiting for the other Trump shoe to drop. Republicans are aware there is more to this impeachment story which is why they control the witnesses from testifying and claim the Democrats in Congress should have subpeanaed the witnesses and filed lawsuits to compell them to testify. The subpeanas should have been enough and the POTUS giving orders to ignore them justifies the Obstruction of Congress charge. How it is used to defend Trump is absurd reasoning and condescends to the American people. If Trump were innocent these witnesses would support his equital…he’s not and Americans should demand to hear their testimony. Pelosi should call off the State of the Union if Mitch won’t let witnesses be called.
