ReplyMy little red haired girl who considered herself a mermaid would rejoice at having a girl of color play Ariel. She would be the first one to stand up and cheer. They need to stop putting children as an excuse for their prejudice, it is just going to create another generation of prejudice and privilege. Let the littles love every color.
ReplyThe policy behind these reruns is pretty clear to me. We will all end up in a collective sigh of relief thinking something of the stretch: For heaven’s sake, he’s gone, couldn’t bear a minute longer with him. Did he really make this French thing every other week? Why did he get so popular in the first place?
