Imagine how much horrible things are at The Daily Show. French Ambassador Gérard Araud is petitioning that Trevor returns to save the show.

Trevor’s not back! Don’t fall for the network’s reruns. He’s never coming back and Paramount’s CEO made it clear they are going to rehash everything on their late night television shows until the strike ends. Comedy central doesn’t want Trevor back, it just wants to continue monetizing on the content he created that they already own. They had a boost in ratings with the guest hosts, so they’ll probably continue that after the strike ends. Trevor didn’t want TDS job and turned it down originally. He’s on tour making way more money, and he actually enjoys doing stand-up comedy compared to hosting TDS.

It’s amazing how unprofessionally butthurt _governments_ get over a joke.

And it’s even worse because Europeans like to say they’re not racist and demonstrate through their actions that they’re at least as racist as Americans at the height of Jim Crow.

In Australia we literally joke about a lot of our football team being or having parents from other countries.
Doesn’t make them any less Australian, and noone would ever take the jokes that way.

In the US there are native-Americans, african-Americans, latin-Americans but no euro-Americans. Why is that?

Like at how this aged. Now Niger is standing up to France and saying no to taking our minerals. And now France is angry. Saw videos with french men destroying things they sent to African countries. Trevor spoke straight facts.

i agree with you in most of youre points but saying you want to inclue them in youre africaness sounds weirdly familiar to the thing you criticise about the french mentality. In my view you should not support or hate peaple solely because where they come from.
So as a fellow human beeing i think it is an amazing thing for them to accomplish. Besides the fact that Fifa is milking it wherever it can and i dont watch the games anymore.
