    Twitter is NOT the ‘public square’ when not all Americans keep a voice there. So when Elon posts a poll on Twitter whether or not to do something like let Trump back on the platform …… it’s not the public square that’s deciding. It’s merely the people that voted on that dumb poll. And this kind of thing effects EVERY American. Not just Twitter users

    Thanks for the insight, but I’m still confused why Bitcoin and crypto prices keep dropping? This drop follows a number of other significant drops in recent weeks. I still hold enormous value of cryptos and it scares me. Whats your take on this?

    This whole debate of privately owned vs state owned completely missed the owned part: the public square can exist on its own in a decentralized architecture. And with all due respect, this imho is the reason the next public square will be designed by a techie, not a sociologist. But gotta admit that she would make a great librarian, as nothing inspires curiosity better than a personal example, of which she is the epitome.
