ReplyJust a few days back I was explaining my elder father how I didn’t care about Sinatra as an actor but I loved him as a singer and that much of that was due not just to his voice but to the songs, the lyrics, so grounded in true experiences that you listen to them and you can’t keep from smiling, nodding and thinking “what a great song”. As long as we remain human they will be timeless.
