The March for Our Lives was three years ago today. In the aftermath of the tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Trevor had on five students to share their experience, offer possible solutions, and explain why they’re marching. #DailyShow

ReplyYou can always count on Trevor to ask the dumb questions
Replyand yet it seems nothing has changed..still all that horrible gun violence..how awful it is!!
Reply🌸🌸🌸🌸 what a great platform to put out there for us to see how they feel personally after dealing with it! We have no right to judge them we have every duty to support them❤️🌸🌻
ReplyI was a sophomore in high school when the march for our lives movement took off and did walkouts. We need to keep that momentum!
ReplyYoung people trying to make a difference. The world needs that more than ever before.
ReplyWe need to have this momentum kept up! I was 15/16 during the shootings and the march for our lives movement.

ReplyReport: It was not a hate crime!
ReplyAmericans: *with a sigh of relief* It was only a mass shooting!
😆 squidbillies
ReplyAt 11:25 the host used the phrase “automatic gun.” I don’t think anyone on that panel, including the host can define “assault weapon”. If they mean the rifles used by the military, those are “burst” and “full-auto” rifles, not “semi-auto”. They are just looking at cosmetics and thinking those features make them worse than a wood stock, traditional, hunting rifle.
ReplyThe biggest problem is the idiots wanting more guns. They cannot understand that is the problem. They want to throw more gas on a fire. It is just ingrained in them by the loudmouth republicans. These nitwits who keep bringing religion into our government. No common sense. None what so ever.
ReplyAm shock by the amount of people who are killed by guns in America, and still nothing can be done by our law makers. The reasons are that they are sold and bought by the NRA
ReplyElijah’s ridiculous voice made me almost as angry as the shooting.
ReplyNo coverage on horrible kids detention centre and border crisis..?? That’s right, keep closing both eyes..
ReplyLet’s clarify what is an assault weapon: a weapon capable of firing in both full auto and semi automatic. Generally used by the military and law enforcement for getting superior firepower. Such weapon are banned for sell for the general public unless the firearm was manufactured before 1986. Just want to clarify, but I do agree some people are too mental to possess a gun
ReplyI’m sorry, kids. I’m… Sorry.
ReplyNothing has changed
ReplyThree years ago, twenty years ago, two days ago: it doesn’t change anything while the psychotic 2A goons hold the balance of power.

Naa I don’t care …..
ReplyI need my Assault weapon with 2000 rounds in my house to protect my self from trump and his supporters
It’s the first normal conversation I’ve seen in a very long time on any media.
This is hour our politicians, no matter in which country you are, should behave. Different opinions have been shared, some people disagree, but they all look for a solution…
Can’t be that hard… hope these kids carry this respect for others all their lives.
Condolences to the friends and families.
ReplyIf your biggest take away was that he said the wrong type of weapon. You are a part of the problem.
ReplyCovid deaths US 558,131 Mexico 199,048 UK 126,382 Canada 22,753 China 4,636 Australia 909 NZ 26 Taiwan 10.
ReplyTwo thirds of Covid variants originate from the US which makes Covid the US VIRUS.
1964 Japan’s first bullet trains vs 2021 US has NO high speed trains.
Americans die believing Traitor Trump and Fox TV when they called the pandemic a hoax. When was America great?
Boring gun-happy Americans. The world is sick of US racism, mass shootings, school shootings and bombing in the name of peace.
ReplyThe US show videos from Mars but no videos of Uyghurs in Xinjiang and only two suspect witnesses from a city of 25 million…
The Changcheng (Great wall) to Lu sè Changcheng (Great green wall) can both be seen from space.
The US had fires from a gender reveal party that could be seen from space. When was America great?
kids not believing that the demilitarization of their society might be achievable. this is so toxic.
ReplyI think it was a tragedy but not a reason to take guns so stop with guns control
ReplyRespect to these kids👍
Replythe US getting rid of guns at all, that’s not gonna happen, not now, not ever
Replyowning a gun there, it means more people are gonna die
So many people at Table Mesa King Soopers, flowers and notes on temporary crime scene perimeter chain link fence; somber, moving.
ReplyHopefully things will get better when the MAGA generation dies out. Hopefully their offspring don’t inherit their loyalty to the obsession with guns. If not, hopefully they die from this hoax virus. 🤗
Replyhey trevor, who was the guy who said it was a white guy who did the mass shooting? definitely not me.
ReplyGUNS SAVES LIVES !
ReplyIm so old, we didn’t have this problem back then. I don’t know how today’s kids cope with the threat or aftermath.
ReplyIn my opinion, Gun Control is definitely the answer. Forcing teachers to be gunmen is not. Putting metal detectors in, and having a police presence in, schools around high crime areas is also a possible solution.
ReplyI knew they’d be no change to our gun laws after they villanified kids grieving from school shootings
ReplyThey weren’t very successful.
ReplyIt just makes me sad when young people die when getting educated. Each life is a spark shining against the dark, and with each life lost, the lights get dimmer.
ReplyThis one girl in the midst of all the guys spoke really well. ( ✌︎’ω’)✌︎ Glad that tds is shining light on this again, we shouldn’t forget.
There’s so many differently view points but I like Josh’s way of thinking. It sounds like the easiest solution but practically difficult. I the meantime it’s better to agree on something that’ll reduce the likelihood of a mass shooting, e.g. armed security, active mental health resources for students etc
