Thomas Friedman is one of the most distructive people in modern political discourse, shame on Bill for giving him a platform. Suck on this!

For once some sense, rather than this shaky journalist (charlatan) espousing about the so-called virtues of local communities, absent the impact from a global-communo perspective…

This guest and so called reporter got it right about the jihadis finally – but mix it with the other items about a liberal agenda & he’ll confuse. You can get the guy out of the NYT but but not the NYT out of the guy (still there?!). He a compulsive confuser and cheerleader for the liberals – of the bad kind. Some of his previous stuff was anti – any other religion except the jihadis and their supporters. And just recently he’s been talking to another subtle confuser Gupta. He should be ashamed of calling riots as pogroms – but I’d say its not worth the effort to talk to him. There is no fool like an old fool.Bill if you are running out of guests at least check their writings & op-eds.Not just books.

Sorry buddy but the world isn’t flat even though it’s not a perfect sphere either. Another scary fact is that the moons gravitational pull is also reshaping the earth itself as well. It’s not flat how ever.

Well …. I was on board until you started the “blame game”…..I’m sick of it!
Our President can’t be that responsible for that much good or bad….individuals are as Thom was saying early…. then blames someone for his participation in the game. Wake up !!
So “stupid says as stupid is” ….. keep your own backyards and bathrooms in order…. that includes the cognitive mine.
Don’t pickup the stones…. you just might be tempted.

Bill, where is the piece with Dr. Shanahan? Did YouTube take it down because the good doc was talking about how to get healthy and that’s against YouTube policy?

I found this discussion disturbing because neither one of these geniuses knows shit about what they are talking about. On top of that their arrogance and conviction that they did knew as much as the real experts made me want to puke. As a physician, I can tell you that the research on all aspects of COVID-19 is still very much a work in progress. The Monday following this naive and grossly oversimplified discussion, the REAL facts about Sweden’s so called escape from the ravages of COVID-19 came out. It turns out that “… at 44 deaths per 100,000, Sweden’s mortality rate is among the highest globally and far exceeds rates in neighboring Denmark and Norway, which imposed much tougher lockdowns early on. Like elsewhere, the virus hit Sweden’s oldest citizens hardest.” https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-06-03

Thomas Friedman is the fucking worst! His writing is OK, and I’m sure I’d enjoy a beer with the guy, but he writes about technology and economics and quite obviously doesn’t understand a whit of either. He gets credit for saying the most obvious things for the millionth time, just because he’s the biggest writer *YET* to say the thing. He basically writes a book a year based on the latest Silicon Valley buzzword that year, except he doesn’t know it’s just a buzzword. And he’s utterly boring in person!
I hope Real Time gets better when Bill can work with his writers in person again, but I worry he’s just finally ossified! I’ll always cherish his enormous and very funny contributions to the public dialogue, but I’ve stopped being a regular viewer

Don’t listen to this globalist enemy of America. Millenials you don’t know that before this conman got his hands on the US econ in the 90’s it was a booming paradise.
