In the second part of his interview with Stephen Colbert, Michael Che points out some key differences between his day job at “Saturday Night Live” and his side gig, “That Damn Michael Che” which is streaming its second season now on HBO Max. #Colbert #ThatDamnMichaelChe #MichaelChe
What’s wrong with the audio? Please re-upload the default volume is too low.
ReplyDid they have an agreement pre interview to not discuss daily show or something?? This is the first time Colbert has a Daily Show alumni as guest and didn’t mention it at all.
ReplyLOL. Mr. Che. talent.
Reply“This one’s for black people” well I guess I’ll get my middle eastern ass away from the next season
ReplyWow! Colbert doesn’t hide his dislike for Che, does he? I don’t much like that black rage act of Che’s either, but, damn, it’s the same thing Colbert also infamously did with Jim Jeffries. Colbert himself punches hard, but he seems to have this big problem with *other* comedians who also punch hard. It isn’t fun to see Colbert’s ego straps showing. Or does he know something about those guests that he’s not letting on? I want to put some trust in Colbert, but this interview has to make me wonder.
ReplyTHIRTEEN!!!
ReplyHave you heard that Matt Gaetz’s attorney claims he misunderstood when he was told people use Venmo to make minor purchases.
ReplyWhen I watch TDMC, and I feel guilty if I don’t like a segment.
ReplyChe is fantastically enjoyable! His career as a writer and comedian is on top along side of Mack, Carlin, Prior, Williams, Fox, etc. We love you Che!
ReplyWell.. if you feel like you’re bombing on Update, you can always write a joke for Jost… and watch him suffer when he gets to the punchline, and realizes he’s about to get cancelled.
ReplyWell, he speaks sense.
ReplyMichael is so awkward thru this whole interview. I see that the got to sneak in the only line he has “black people”. Sure, whatever. But then we cut to a scene of him essentially talking about how trashy he is with a bunch of trashy women. Che is not helping the black movement, he is making it harder. I challenge him to go 365 days without saying the phrase “black people” on camera. Watch his career unfold.
ReplyIt is sad to realise i also get my news from the late-night comedians!
