“The generosity of the American people playing out around the world”…
I’m all for it, but I don’t remember being asked or agreeing to any such outreach. In the future, I hope that Americans are able to change our system so that we’re not simply at the whim of those who are elected, but instead have much more say as to the details of how our tax money is spent. Although, on the other hand, I’m learning that a large percentage of our country don’t agree with my own ideas… and wouldn’t be in favor of helping others around the world…

The worlds (per capita) worst polluter telling other countries how to not pollute as much is hypocritical, to say the least.

This is special. I’ve been waiting for this. Would love to see us focus on the Americas first. Clear away some of the unfortunate history of medical experimentation and build a new trust. We should be building relationships in the Americas to diminish our reliance on manufacturing from authoritarian China. Covid has shown the fragility of the current supply chains. Let us offshore light manufacturing to friends and neighbors that are free. It will make us stronger and safer. Mango Mussolini’s slogan was only really one letter off: the s. From Argentina to Alaska, we are all Americans. We have the demographics, the resources, and the know how to build a better world for today and tomorrow.

This is great. I was waiting for something like this to happen. It makes sense on every level.
Also, I know this is irrelevant, but wow, the color of her eyes.

Oh yeah, massive. Just admit you never cared about trans kids or police reform or the minimum wage, Stephen, you and Joe both like to play the kind uncle, but in reality you are two more rich privileged white men who just want to feel better about what is put in front of you, no better than Barbara Bush’s “beuatiful mind” when someone truly vulnerable needs support. Such a sinkhole of fake love.

The irony of USAID helping poor countries get things that are missing in the US and doing things the US doesn’t do…
The US could have all these nice things if the republicans would allow it.
