Also: there is no way a US based WHO equivalent would cost as little as 400 million dollars. Even if it is completely under funded, ineffectual; just there to say we have it: it’s still going to cost a least a billion.

The US has good reasons to be concerned about China’s growing influence on WHO and many other international organizations, but it’s against America and the global community’s best interests for the US to just walk away without fighting for more influence. This is exactly what’s called Isolationism, and this is another great evidence that Trump is the worst politician.

WHO is the one to blame for this pandemic to start in the first place, how are we suppose to trust an organization that fails at its purpose to warn us about the virus in China?

I have made several interactive maps of disease outbreaks on SARs, MERs, Ebola and other diseases on a micro local level and used WHO documents to identify infected villages and cities around the world, even in tiny villages in Africa and the Middle East. The type of data I could not get from the Center for Disease Control who only provides data on which states have a health emergency..The CDC does not provide data on a local level, while the WHO does. Providing data on the local level tells you where the outbreak actually is. Providing data on the macro state level tells you very little if anything.
