“Submit and obey”. Wow. How terrifying that anyone in the U.S has to remember to “submit and obey” to survive let alone a child. Time passes but nothing changes. Slavery –> Jim Crow–>2021 submit and obey. This must change.
ReplyIf all these young people are getting this lecture from their parents then why are they still fighting with cops and running from then. Non compliance is what’s getting them killed.
ReplyThe system of American police needs to be abolished
ReplyWatching that little girl raising her arms and saying those lines made my heart hurt a little.
ReplyThis shouldn’t be happening, it really shouldn’t.
heres a little help when you pull over a black person and because the “climate” is how it is right now be like ” Hello Sir im sorry that i pulled you over Please let me explain WHY I pulled you over” And i dunno maybe ask how they are doing today and if there is any questions or conserns they may have.. You know something to get a feel for the situation and have an understanding of what they might be going through so that you don’t or try not to agitate them further and possibly instead talk them down… You know how you would treat white ppl =p (jab)
ReplyThank you, Trevor, for continuing to start conversations across the board.
ReplyAmen
ReplyOr there can be more black officer. Most of the kkk members in office “Trump” and all over the world wont act racist. Their everywhere! Most of the silent White folk won’t say it. But they lock the door when they see a black or brown man Walk by. Ive seen it first hand. They want their kids to know that black and brown are looked down on.there’s white ladies out there that tell their kids not to talk to brown kids. Ive seen it first hand. This lady told her daughter “don’t talk to her because she’s not from here”. And then the little girl asked my daughter “where do you live?”and then my daughter told her “the same town you live in”
Reply“I’m not fearful of my life when I get pulled over.” -Stanley Roberts, African American journalist. And he’s 57 and has only been pulled over twice in his life, both times for speeding and he actually was speeding.
ReplyBrilliant. I can’t say enough how important the talk is. Thank you again trevor for pointing out these specific issues.
ReplyIf every family is having these conversations then why are we still seeing so many resisting when confronted by police. This is part of the equation that we as a society need to discuss and resolve.
ReplyI sort of had that talk with my son (we are both white) when he was high school age. He liked wearing a duster, but noticed he got followed and watched in stores because of it. He liked the coat for the sci-fi/gaming, not Columbine, references… Our talk was simple, I reminded him that his choices have consequences – and at least he can change his coat. Many of his friends get much worse treatment just for the color of their skin.

I’m white and I got this talk from my mom….
ReplyWhen a black man reads the Quran he becomes Malcolm X and Muhammad Ali and Dave Chappell and Mike Tyson.
ReplySubmit and obey, does not mean your coming home. As a mother of two Black men in the making, I know that
ReplyI remember being pulled over driving up the alley to my moms house my little brother turned turned around and I was so mad. I yelled at him telling him to NEVER DO THAT AGAIN! Just be still dont freakn move.
ReplyAmerica’s police might be the Zombies Dr. Fauci is talking about. The thing is, they attack only black people. I’ve scene numerous footages where they stop whites who don’t comply to nothing they say. In some cases the drivers take off again but cops don’t even pull a taser on them. They they do is continue on with the stunt. In one footage, a cop even shot through his own windscreen pretending to be shooting at a white escapee. All this is not just telling about law enforcement agents in America but about lawmakers and justice systems of “U.S”. In Africa, we don’t call it U.S.A anymore. We call it AmeriKKKa. That’s why you’ve so many activists out there of recent who want their military bases out of Africa. We know now what ” U.S” stand up and lie down for.
ReplyThe policing system in the US is inherently corrupt and driven by racism. US society is built on keeping black America poor and disenfranchised. We only have to look at the voting debacle caused by the republicans in Georgia. Then you have the Karens of the world that use the police as a weapon against a black person. Until the police are legitimately prosecuted, until the blue wall of silence is broken down, until the police and the justice system learn that they are part of the problem and actually learn how to interact with a black US citizen, then we might see some changes.
ReplyAll it is ..they getting your child ready like they got you….they don’t fear them!!!!… they preparing them…we need too stand you too that
ReplyReparations NOW
ReplyHow many policemen were shot during this simple checking?
ReplyOK, as a white European I’m completely baffled by this whole situation.
ReplyI wonder why Trevor Noah doesn’t talk about Blacks attacking Asians.
ReplyYep, no upbeat melody for the end of the video in this one.
ReplyPolice force in America was not created to serve black African Americans, it was created to police black Americans and serve white Americans.
Reply“Cops” also get training at age eight in their homes, schools, churches, and amongst friends. Pretty sure these white cops parents r proud of their actions.
ReplyTo be honest educating your children of the injustice the system is…Is just saying it’s OK to shoot me I’m black…people if all cultures and color should stand together and show that the justice system is broken and needs repair.m
Reply“Don’t do anything wrong.”
ReplyTalk about gun control and see what happens.
I can’t believe this is real this is pure evil, how does an 8 year old deal with this
Reply5:53 The little girl almost made me cry… The USA has nothing on China, Russia or Europe, since it is a 3rd world country though and through… But not because of poverty, like other 3rd world countries…
ReplyThanks for this episode Trevor, things must change and will
ReplyAs a mother of a black and indigenous young man we have “the talk” regularly. I wished my mom had had it with me. All my parents said is do whatever the officer says. Keep your hands on the wheel. No sudden movements or else theyll shoot you even if your innocent. My mom said treat a cop better than you would treat me. But they never really told me why. I learned that part the hard way.
ReplyI got that talk too, as a white man. Hands on the wheel, lights on, respectful.
I guess it means more to black people, though.
I think the difference is my dad wanted to teach me how to get out of a ticket. Black people are trying to survive. What a nightmare this country is.
ReplyLets just teach black kids to fear cops and resist arrest that will work.
ReplyMy friend Rashad told me the first time I was in the car with him. Watch M we will be pulled over and asked if you are ok. It happened exactly like he said… I was shocked luckily nothing happened I just showed my license and told him we were traveling together to the beach. He let us go.
ReplyPlot Twist: Vin Diesel is half black
ReplySad to see that “the talk” between parents and children is necessary to survive, while the USA can not have a talk about guns, police brutality and discrimination without half the country calling for freedoms: how much freedom is there when this talk is a necessity.
ReplyI didn’t get the talk because I already educated myself about this kind of stuff before I even had the talk
ReplyIt’s sad that making this content is all that can be done.
ReplyI know you guys don’t want to get rid of guns for some weird reason, but maybe it might be an idea to at least disarm the police? You may still keep some armed response unit or something, but there’s no reason for your average traffic cop to have a gun.
ReplyAs someone who’s never been to the U.S. I’m just heartbroken that your own police does that to you without any sort of provocation, so much that you need to have this conversation with your kids in order to keep them safe from, as Trevor well put it, “the ones who are supossed to keep THEM safe”. It truly doesn’t make any sense, yet it happens time and time again. I’ve seen so many videos, so many unneccesary deaths, WHY just WHY isn’t your government taking any action against this? Why is the police as a whole not ashamed of this?!?!? Why do those officers never get any punishment?!
I come from Chile, a country where the police/military organized a freaking coup-d’etat back in the 70s and they killed and tortured thousands of people, even bursting into people’s homes at night and took even pregnant women away to never be seen again… but since the regime was abolished and we regained democracy, such acts have been condemned and investigated, and ppl went to jail for it (albeit not as many as they should’ve). But I see so many similarities in the way the police here used to act back then, and how your police is acting NOW IN 2021. We were in a dictatorship then, but you live in a democracy, how is this even ALLOWED to happen? I will never understand it.
I send all my love yo you and commend every protester for BLM movement or any other instance when you fight for what is right and just. I hope it someday bears fruits just like it did for us.
ReplyIf you think that there is no racism in America. Are you okay for you son/daugther to be born black?
ReplyOnly in America does an 8 year old girl have to be worried about convincing the grown man yelling and waving a gun at her that *_she’s_* harmless to *_him._*
ReplyMaybe police need to be sent to prison for life for murdering black people.
ReplyThis is BS.
ReplyThis must stop.
Replya moment from this awful topic.. 5:03 I LOVE how the son looks at his Mom
ReplyWhen did this terrible cop culture begin? I remember as a child watching CHiPs. Those two cops weren’t going about harming people!
ReplyHow come that wherever you look, regardless of country, the police seems to be filled with the most heinous ultra right wing nationalists?
ReplyI don’t say that every cop is one of them, but the amount of right wing pigs is so high, that one essentially can’t trust any cop blindly.
I cried so hard when I watched this video. I had to have that talk with my son when he was just six years old and starting school.
ReplyAbsolutely true!
ReplySMH
ReplyThe sad thing is that NO ONE should have to have these “Talks”
ReplyKeep talking, Trevor. More people need to hear you.
ReplyThe only thing that cops “protect and serve” is white privilege.
ReplyPolice need to be required to get Social Science degrees, like social science educators, with a focus on African American studies and Race, Class, and Gender. This is especially necessary if the officers are going to police areas that have different demographics than the area they grew up in.
ReplyYes, You are 100% right Trevor.
ReplyIf I have children someday, they won’t be born in America.
ReplyReminds me of Men in Black when Will Smith was training and shot the little girl.
ReplyIt’s like people didn’t learn anything from The Hate U Give.
ReplyI don’t even remember when I had this talk, I feel like it’s always been there considering we were the one of the very few black people in an upper-middle class area, and the only black family in our development pretty much until I was in 11th grade.
Reply*Free, white and twenty-one… not! In 2021.*
ReplyTrevor, rhetorical question; when is USA gonna wake up; there’s nothing ‘Great’ about it and never has. This is such a shame cause ‘potential’ is there.
ReplyPolice definitely need to be taught how to act around black people
ReplyEverytime we see you we are scared you will be the last person we see
I’m white as.. But i will never stand for racism! Keep doing what you doing, Trevor; one of them just might think twice…
ReplyPs: My apologies on behalf of the few ‘not yet rotten’ within my race.
@trevor noah can you also talk about the asians that are being targeted by african americans? It’s just not BLM!
Replywhy do the management police not address those stop arrest, its for the police that need to act better and for the states to admit they doing it wrong and change
Replythank you for doing this episode i was trying to explain to my white friends that this is an actual thing that Black parents have to go through its heart breaking that they have to teach their children how to make it home alive even when they have done nothing wrong
ReplyI’VE BEEN “STOPPED” EVERY YEAR SINCE I WAS 16 – AND MORE SO SINCE THE AUTOMOBILE I DRIVE COST MORE THAN WHAT COPS FEEL I SHOULD BE ABLE TO AFFORD – WHILE WHITES DRIVE ‘HELTER-SKELTER’ WITH GUN-RACKS and GUNS VISIBLE ,AND NOTHING ,LITERALLY NOTHING IS DONE TO THEM REGARDLESS OF THE MANNER of VEHICLE OPERATION. There are two americas and ‘JIM CROW ‘ to cops is ALIVE AND WELL !
ReplyAll bacon should be tasted to perfection.
ReplyWithout “THE TALK” -THERE IS NO SURVIVAL ! TIMES CHANGE,CERTAIN PEOPLE DON’T !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyThe Fresh Prince episode when Will and Carlton get pulled over first educated me (a white person) about what it means to be pulled over while driving while black. It was eye opening.
ReplyMy parents had my brother and I recite our phone number and address because my mom stopped me from being human trafficked at age 4 and my parents wanted us to be prepared if we got separated
ReplyIt’s funny how the daily show has to keep deleting points that they disagree with. It’s truly pathetic.
Replywho are the 275 who gave this a thumb down? i hope it was for sadness.
ReplyThis made me cry…. to see a little one having to hold up their hands and practice saying they’re unarmed….. it’s heartbreaking to think our children have to grow up in fear of those who swore to protect and serve…
ReplyThe talk: not IF…WHEN
ReplyWhat happens to these kids when they grow up and become cops do they forget what there parents teached them cause black cops are as in there brutality it was black cops in Atlanta that tazed and beat the two students for no reason
ReplyWell said trevor! Well said!
ReplyIf I could like this more than once, I would. Well done Trevor, and the writers of The Daily Show.
ReplyTo be fair as a white kid my parents did talk to me about being polite and deferential whenever you get pulled over. Obviously it’s different but at some level all kids need to understand the dynamic.
ReplyA large part of it is racism, but another large part is that the USA has so many guns that it’s likely that someone has one. You need very strict gun control laws and then teach police that they should not assume everyone has a gun.
ReplyThis is sincerely the dumbest segment.
ReplyThis is heartbreaking.
ReplyI was searching Trevor Noah’s take on Marxist BLM founders 3.5M house no results hooow. is this news only on Sky news and Americas Fox News it is not even on CNN and Aljazeera.
ReplyThey never “feel threatened” they harass you into an excuse to execute you on the spot. Black cops should start returning the favor until the silent complicit white public realize these kind of interactions are not ok
ReplyI have six year old son who is mixed with black and spanish. I keep thinking how one day my husband and I will have to have this talk with him. He already knows there are some bad cops and has overheard us talk but the real talk with him still has to come.
ReplyThe problem is not in the blue uniform or the badge the one wearing it is the problem
Reply40 million interactions between police and civilians. THIRTY(30) out of 40 million have been fatalities.
ReplyHow about them apples you ANC sycophant?
I can never were a coat in America while behind the wheel, it just screams red flags.
ReplyTan people a jealous because of all the tanning they had to do.
ReplyI want to ask Trevor usa police compare to South Africa cop or appethite
ReplyI’m white and I had tears hearing that black 8 year old girl recite what might keep her safe. As a parent, I can’t imagine the pain of giving such a talk.
ReplyThey BEGIN with failing to comply, fighting or fleeing arrest.
ReplyI have seen that video of the police pepper spraying a black child… So I see why black parents have to teach their 8 year olds on how to act in front of the police. It broke my heart when I saw that video…
ReplyWhite people have white privileges
ReplyHearing about “the talk” was one of the biggest things that made me realize my privilege. I’ve never felt in physical danger from the police. My parents didn’t tell me to be afraid of police. I had no idea that people felt this way. That’s the privilege of being white in this country; not even realizing the problem exists.
ReplyPreach Trevor!!!!!
ReplyThat is so messed up. You should only be afraid of cops if you know you’ve commited a crime.
ReplyWhat that eight year-old girl said broke my f**king heart.
ReplyIn other words the “talk” is common sense.
ReplyI recommended a professional broker to you guys sometime ago,can i get person who invested with her
ReplyComment below
So I remember when I first had the talk with my father about being accidentally killed by the police if I didn’t act right. I was 7.
ReplyYou are ignorant if you are any color and your parents don’t teach you how to interact with police. You are also ignorant if you think black people only have this talk. This racist bs needs to be removed from youtube immediately.
ReplyI’m white and the talk you’re talking about , is and should be given to everyone, my parents told me if you get pulled over keep your hands on the wheel and do what the officer tells you. They even told me if you think you’re going to jail for something you didn’t do, go to jail and you deal with it in court. I can’t tell you how many times me and my friends got pulled over, or even pulled out of the car while it was searched. It’s common sense, to be on your best behavior around police, white or black. Why do people on the left make everything about race? Teach your kids to have some respect for authority . These people getting killed are acting ridiculous when they get pulled over.. What does he mean by cops need to know how to act around black people? People are people, there are dumb people and smart people. respectful people and non respectful people. Everyone have some common sense and treat everyone with respect and everyone will be fine. Don’t listen to people like this guy trying to make money off the racist ideas they have. Everyone can live a normal life and be successful, if you work hard. This is America
ReplyBravo Trevor!
ReplyI must be blacker then the 1% I thought I was because my parents “talked” to me about the same things.
ReplyIm white and i had the talk with my biracial daughter. There’s no politics here it would just be bad parenting if I didn’t.
ReplySo you’re saying, George Floyd, Daunte Wright and others never got the talk. Also, its not a black thing, white families like mine teach us how to behave when a police officer pulls us over.
ReplyThat is just depressing…racist country…
ReplyThat eight-year old killed me.
ReplyI did a poetry piece on BEING A BLACK PARENT IN AMERICA.
ReplyYOU SHOULD CHECK it out.
Maybe people can relate
The irony of this all is that this talk in a way sounds like how we would advice people to deal with armed bandits on the streets of a developing country. Be calm, don’t get into arguments with them and make no sudden movements, because sometimes those criminals are high and they can unload their guns on you in a second. You assume responsibility for keeping them calm and deescalating the situation. Give them whatever they ask you for and try to come away safe, your life is the most important thing.
ReplyYELLING “FIRE” IN A CROWDED THEATER IS ILLEGAL…. YET NATIONAL TELEVISION HOSTS LIKE YOU CAN FLAT OUT LIE LEADING TO BILLIONS IN DOLLARS IN DAMAGES AND MURDERS FROM THE RIOTS YOU CAUSE. YOU SHOULD BE SENT TO PRISON ALONG WITH YOUR WRITERS AND PRODUCERS.
ReplyPlease watch “come and take a walk with me by Kasta”. It’s a rap track about police brutality in Belarus.
ReplyIs this a joke… sikerim pls make Africa great again I hope African people will learn not be so angry all the time.. If you angry you inside a women
ReplyAnd they say america is great, right
ReplySo I guess we now need to ad another curriculum on the school’s rosters…….what to do when a cop pulls you over because your black !
ReplyP;ease speak slowly…..Most Media speaks soooooo fast most people do not get it
ReplyAiya, it’s like how girls shouldnt have to dress down/be demur to avoid boy’s unwanted attention. It is the BOYS that needs to change how they treat girls.
ReplyI’m white. When I was little a black relative gave me the talk. It took a long time for me to realize that he didn’t have to. He’d tell me about his interactions with cops and it would scare me, but then when it came time that I “matched the description”, after the cops handcuffed me they all but served me cocoa before they released me.
ReplyTrevor Noah is stoking the flames of hate and creating division and he not even American lol
ReplyLOOK UP JLP FOR TRUTH
ReplyWas pulled over by detectives for tinted windows. But not by one state trooper.
ReplyMore white men than black men are killed by police. You dont see them crying for pity.
ReplyMy kid has known not to talk to cops and how to behave and avoid them since she was old enough to talk and we’re not black. It’s a police brutality issue
ReplyThese comments are terrifying and truly sad. Trevor Noah is a puppet that’s being prompted by liberals to scare the black community. Truly sad. Be respectful, comply with others, do not resist. Easy, simple instructions. If you teach your children to treat others as they would want to be treated, no need for further “talks”. The media is crippling this country and bringing it to its end.
ReplyI am half Hispanic and half Scandinavian, sometimes I wonder if moving or spending time in America would be fun and interesting but now I am not so sure. How white do I need to be to be safe?
ReplyWow… This is REAL!!
ReplyThat 8 year old broke my heart….. Heart broken and angry at the same time. Why must it be like that just so a human being can survive?
ReplyI moved out of America but I remember whenever I saw the cops there while we were drinving, me and my brother would get absolutely terrified, Looking back my dad got pulled over alot but I guess they were more leaniant becuase he saw the entire family in the backseats.
ReplyUr racist. This happens in white house holds too.
ReplyWhen will this be over? It’s tough to hold back tears watching this. Being Black, it feels like being Black automatically condemns you as a criminal
ReplyIt’s not about the talk. IT’S THE PERCEPTION. It’s the erroneous perception white officers have about black people. Perhaps, hate is another factor. Let’s get some white officers, go undercover, have a chat with thousands of white officers on the subject. Do a secret recording. Not to betray them, but to use it as a case study. Run ads to debunk the negatives. It will take the MEDIA TO REVERSE THAT PERCEPTION. This could take years, but it will help at the end of the day. I AM SICK AND TIRED SEEING PEOPLE OF MY COLOR BEING TREATED THIS WAY.
ReplyFirst off yeah we scared of the police because no matter what we do we will be harassed we will be shot we will be carried away we will fit the description we will have so many issues that you people will never understand a guy walking from the store home crossing the street gets killed need I say more Trayvon Martin remember these people
ReplyDoing all those things in black families we do have a talk with our kids but yet look at what is happening it is not working we’re still losing our children our brothers our sisters our mothers we’re losing they’re not our population is going down not theirs
ReplyThe kid walking home from the store down alley and police harassed him it was snowing he said he didn’t want no help he just wanted to go home and guess what happened to him he never made it home how much more do we have to go through
ReplySo what you’re saying is; if you don’t resist arrest, while having a warrent out for your arrest or just committed a crime, while having a weapon on you or reaching for a weapon, you won’t get shot by the cops. Who knew?
Replyyou’re logic reminds me of a arrogant college student who’s head is inflated because you completed a semester
ReplyGoosebumps all over seeing that little girl. This is tragic.
ReplyYa’ll are brainwashed
ReplyWhen you are raised right you don’t really need “the talk”
ReplyHeck, I’m white and I’m terrified by police too. I always watch for them when I’m on the road.
ReplyI live in Texas, and part of your driver’s ed is watching a video about how to act at a traffic stop and all these things black people are taught as teenagers are there, because we have to act like cops are these frightened, dangerous predators.
“Submit, obey, come home” is the motto for anyone interacting with police these days, it’s sad.
I got that talk when I was a kid in the 90’s. It also came with do not accept an invitation from a white person to go out on a boat.
ReplyDid have a talk about law enforcement growing up, it was framed entirely differently. Getting to a well lit place with witnesses was part of it. To be fair my parents were open with me about negative police interactions in the past, like being propositioned by an officer during a traffic stop, and losing a friend to police brutality because they were a long haired boy in an antique store refusing to leave when their long hair made the owner uncomfortable.
ReplyCommon sense isn’t racist Trevor. If you use it you can live another day no matter the color of your skin.
ReplyYou using the race card makes you the racist IMHO.
Great point at the end Trevor
ReplyWow interesting Trevor. So everyone that we’ve seen killed on the media so far, please show me one of them that didn’t disrespect an officer, try punch an officer, try grab an officer’s gun, run away from an officer? Where in the ‘talk’ is any of this advised?
ReplyI never had the talk , but I have had something similar …its called common sense
ReplyThe whole land of the free talk is a farce. This country is simply built on a lie.
ReplyThe US system has been broken for a long time an stubborn people dont wanna change (45th prez, aka republican party) it’s just sad that problems are still going on today an nothing is being pushed forward about it
Reply“Every” black family?!! I would say that comment, in fact, makes Trevor Noah a liar. I never had the talk, never needed the talk, been encountered MANY times by police, and have been respected every single time. Because I obey the law, and I treat EVERYONE with respect. It’s really just that simple. You guys are race-baiting scumbags!
ReplyIm reading these comments below and a lot of non-black people are saying to just comply. If I’m in a traffic stop and a cop asks to search my vehicle without a warrant, I’m not going to agree to that. You would be foolish to give up your constitutional right like that and it shouldn’t result in an escalation of the traffic stop.
Reply“That you never heard of” Guess what Trevor, it’s not just black families that have “the talk” about police, but latinos like myself, and asians, and, that’s right, even white people too.
ReplyHere’s some advice if you’re being handcuffed stop resisting
ReplyI started crying when I heard the 8 year old say her deescalation sentence. How heartbreaking for a child to need to do that
ReplyThank You Trevor . . .
ReplyBe you’re own man TREVOR NOAH. Nobody black i know is having ” The talk”. Stop reading the teleprompter and spreading lies.
ReplyYes, let’s keep pushing the narrative.
Reply“the talk” is common sense advice for white people. no one ever had to explain it to me, i just knew somehow.
ReplyWow. This is poignant. I think all people should be aware that this happens so we can better try to change the system.
Reply“…if an officer stops you, promise me you’ll always be polite.
And that you’ll never ever run away
Promise Mama you keep your hands in sight.
Is it a gun, is it a knife,
Is it a wallet, this your life
It ain’t no secret
No secret my friend
You can get killed just for livin in
Your American skin.”
Bruce Springsteen, 41 Shots
ReplyTrevor you are a racist idiot and you are the problem with society
Replywho even dislikes this video???
ReplyThis is why Malcolm X was planning to indict the American government at the UN for the racist treatment our people have suffered for centuries. When Malcolm X came back from Mecca and announced going to the UN, J Edgar Hoover was quoted saying “do something about Malcolm X”. And later he was assassinated.
ReplyThey forgot killed while black.
ReplyI’m a mail carrier and got pulled over by the police while I was in the mail truck and got a ticket I thought I was getting punked I still can’t believe it.
ReplyUMMMMM…Here’s the deal Mr. Noah….”The Talk” is what ordinary people ALREADY do. There is a reason for doing so. People of all background, race and religion have made choices during traffic stops that have made the police reaction necessary (NOT saying I agree with it…hear me out). I, admittedly. got pulled over last October and here is what went down: cop comes to my passenger window. I have my hands visible on the steering wheel. Cop asks for id and proof of insurance. I say, “I am going to have to take my hands off the steering wheel to get into my purse. Is that ok?”. Cop snickers a little but says “yes”. I’m white. I’m female. I still got a ticket. But the officer knew my intent and the stop went as smooth as it could go. I got to drive my car back home and carry on with my life. I didn’t give the officer ANY reason to misjudge my movements. Don’t listen to MSM so much… your life will be a lot less stressful.
ReplyAdvice given by black parents in this video is obvious that others follow already. ‘When police stop you, don’t agitate them. ‘When you want to pull registration – ask them first’. These are common sense things.
ReplyThey shot a 13tyr old child with hands up n they trying to justify it..
ReplyLook at history of Rome n Greek torture u see who they really are n it ain’t nothing nice..
ReplySearch conservative twins on youtube. They expose trevor noah for the nonsense he is talking
ReplyI had a colleague that lives in a rich side of town. Her n her husband make a decent living and have luxury vehicles. She told me her 18 y.o. was driving with her friend and neighbors called the cops because it was suspicious that two black kids had access to a brand new luxury car. The Talk is real and i cant imagine having to experience that. We need to do better as a society.
ReplyAbsolutely ridiculous
ReplyWhat is fair about people fearing for their life when they get pulled over by cops? what is free about kids not being able to enjoy their milestones such as starting to drive as their parents have to sit them down and having “the talk” first?
America can’t claim to be a fair and free country if the statement only applies to the minority.
Whoever wrote raining pew pew pews in your script, lol that was funny
ReplyCheck out hodgetwins to hear actual black people explain this lol
ReplyI actually had to talk to my son (white boy) at like 4ish to always make sure he told people his black aunts and uncles are related and adopted into a white family. I wanted to make sure no one thinks he was kid napped because I was concerned about his teen and adult relative.
ReplyP.o.c especially black people have to be better citizens than white people, we have to be the most involved in our community, we have to be on the best behavior, we have to make sure to not speak our own language in public, we have to be christian, we can never have a record of even minuscule “crimes” like traffic violations, anything in our past makes us a criminal permanently.
ReplyAll of that is just so we can be seen as “equal” to people who raise a flag we fought a war to get rid of.
“Greatest country in the world”
Comply and you will be in ZERO danger. THIS IS RACE BAITING AND PROPAGANDA
ReplyThe black people need to be better educated then the police.
ReplyTo be honest, it’s clear shame does not seem to work on police or many politics in the USA.
It’s shameful, that you are getting paid to be calmed down by somebody who you detest and think inferior. The police had 3 months of training and the people, they should be sworn in to protect, have way more training and at way more able to handle a situation you should be able to handle on a daily basis.
What the heck.
This really makes the police useless.
The truth of this is so sad. I have nothing else to say.
ReplyWhite privilege in a nutshell. The brokest white parents don’t have to have these conversations with their children. Some things boil down to skin color alone.
Reply“not complying while black”
Reply“Maybe police need to have the talk on how to act around black people.”
ReplyWell if you don’t get it like most white and Asian kids do under 5 seconds, then you have to be taught. Nothing sad about kids receiving education.
ReplyBtw when does Trevor get his lesson?
Body language, tone of voice, sudden movement, dosen’t mean a thing. Cops are out to do one thing when it comes to black people, and that is to harass, and terrorize. Watch the short film Two Distant Strangers. It reveals that no matter how gentle, educated or submissive a black man is around a cop. Their inclination is to terrorize and abuse the black man to show his superiority.
ReplyThese times are so scary
ReplyDon’t resist arrest , don’t shoot up a intersection at 2 in the morning. That would of saved all of their lives.

ReplyThe USA was never “the land of the free”, but sure “the home of the brave”!!
ReplyThe USA has gone backwards during these 4 hellish years, and the one and the only way to get back on track (more justice, equality, etc) isn’t only debating and demonstrating, but showing the world “videos with audio” showing the real reality … and A LOT of them!!!
When you get stopped by a police officer:
BE cautious/professional: Start by greeting the officer warmly.
Keep hands visible at all times.
Ask for permission to get your documents.
KEEP A CALM DEMEANOR.
Now, if you don’t like what the officer is doing or has done, you can demand for his name and number (this is your right) and file a complaint.
ReplyYou can take legal action. Many have done this and have been well compensated.
BUT remember you have to be alive to do the above.
Cool heads always prevail. Always.
Thank you.
This is insane

We have taught the younger generation in our family to cooperative with the police and do not be disrespectful. Even if they are disrespectful. The main objective is to make it back home safe.
I NEED to see Trevor interview officer Tatum. I’m so curios about a clash between the two.
