ReplyIt’s been a racket to make money for police departments, which just need more funding. If tax payers really want police, PAY FOR THEM! Our neighborhood now has plenty of cops and no crime and we pay a ton of taxes for them because there are NO drugs here for them to seize or property to seize from drug dealing. And prohibition is killing people. Not to mention alcohol deaths have always outnumbered drug deaths, except now that fentanyl is out there, it’s a different story altogether. At least OxyContin pills (the last batches) were made that couldn’t be abused (ie. shot up, snorted, etc.) They killed like 1/5 of the amount of people now dead from fentanyl. Prohibition kills.

ReplyWhen one wants people to overdose and die, obviously one is annoyed by harm reduction programs.
ReplyDo this then all of Americas will look like Portland Oregon. Needles at every Park. Orange needle caps lining the street like cigarette butts. Needle exchanges at every Church once a week of course. And you’ll still have overdoses and a healthcare system that will respond to those overdoses with lackluster response times… in Portland it could take you a good 30 to 45 minutes to get an ambulance to show up for an overdose because they just don’t care. They spend half their day reviving people that are dead. They get jaded, and then the job becomes routine. I don’t agree with the war on drugs, but I agree with the war on drug distributors!
