We voted for this because we believe in rehabilitation and restoring democracy. The fee part was never on the ballot, this is all politicians being terrible again.

anytime the state gives itself the right to violate your rights, it’s AUTHORITARIANISM. If your rights can be taken away from you…they are not rights, they are privileges.

All lives matter is the worst slogan and even worse response. Try this analogy. Your house is on fire and you need help, you shout that someone targeted your house specifically. I ignore your please and say ‘all houses matter’ and keep walking. Not only did I not help you but I did nothing to aid in it from happening to someone else.

Voting is a fraud. Ask Richard Gregory. The first black man elected president.

As far as I am concerned, if you do your time and have properly made steps to not go down the same path. Then there is NO reason you shouldn’t be allowed to vote. I don’t pay fees to vote, why should they? I do agree with the cutoff with Murderers and Pedos tho. Screw thos guys.

Pay for the right to vote? Interesting framing.
They are being asked to repay the tax payer for the cost of their court proceedings and/or their incarceration?
