Finally we have a President who care about climate change, not someone that claim was an hoax and think windmills do cancer.
ReplyTasers fail more often than not.
ReplyThey really had to load the ball to put that much spin on the shooting of the knife wielding teen mid attack
ReplyRuiz is my congressman and he does our district proud.
ReplyDo a story about how Josh halloway supports Asian hate
ReplyHow unbelievably stupid. In the time it would have taken to tackle or taze MaKia from that distance would have let her finish that swing and stab to the girl in pink who was NOT a threat to her right then. She had already tried to stab the other girl who fell right before her dad kicked the chick in the head. It’s horrible, but she was in the act of attempted murder. He’ll, she was running in the direction of then cop with the knife at first. Tell me what about that situation leads you to believe there was time to talk her down or justifys letting her complete that stab?
Replythe class train is about to derail, let us eat cake
ReplyJoe Lieberman? Please tell me this a sick joke.
ReplyBiden is doing to much to help America. The Repubs will get desperate. It’s too soon to scream about the war on christmas. So, they’ll fear monger about the border, ISIS, loss of an American culture and communism
ReplyGeorge “Hey, I’m not the WORST Prez… anymore” Bush.
Reply😂😂♥️🙏🏼
Replyit is really strange hearing americans talk about reducing emissions
ReplyWhat are rubber bullets and tear gas for? 🤔
ReplyGotta love how the man who started the longest war in American history is pretending like he never had any misinformation
ReplyEarth day weekend
ReplyPandering to the fringe interest group of *Human Civilization* . ^^
I wish more politicians would listen to those minor concerns like the future of our planet
ReplyGeorge “War Criminal and Moron” Bush.
ReplyCongratulations to Biden for catching up to the real world after the disaster bimbo holding office, but Muricans really need to stop pretending that they are leading anyone. The EU will reduce emissions by 55 % from the 1990 baseline (not like 2005 like the US), has already a far greater renewable share and a lot more EVs and a lot less emissions per capita.
ReplyIt is spot on but the woman basically yelling for 5 minutes gets old
ReplyMe: Is threatening someone else with a knife OK?
ReplyGOP: Well, now that depends…
Me: Does the name Kyle Rittenhouse ring any bells? Is gunning down people with an alternate point of view OK?
GOP: Well, now that depends…
Me: Does either deserve to die?
GOP: Well now that depends…
At least he’s trying to do something f*** off
ReplyOkay I’ll say it. It is unwise to widen our protest of police killings of unarmed black people to _all_ police killings of black people, even when wielding a deadly weapon and being a threat to their immediate surroundings. BLM is going to lose a lot of support over this.
ReplyWhat gives cops the right to be judge, jury and executioner? Pigs
ReplyTook me for a loop
ReplyPretty obvious Biden uses this as a platform to gain control.
ReplyFree climate control bullets for all make America great again purposes.
ReplyWell, Republicans seem to think adressing climate change is pretty frivolous. Of course they hate science and love God so …
ReplyI absolutely hate cops, but a taser takes time to charge before firing, it is not an appropriate response to deadly force. The woman being attacked matters too, and if the cop hadn’t shot the girl we would have a different dead victim. If she was attacking the cop with a knife it would be a different story. Meanwhile the Democrats seem to be more concerned with getting more votes from DC than justice reform, hence why they havent ended the drug war. They are just as racist as conservatives.
ReplyExcuse me, “WE” are leading the way “again”! What a fucking joke. Gonna break your shoulder trying to pat yourself on the back, there, delusional man.
ReplyMuch needed sarcasm ,,, a laugh does us all well
ReplyWashington, D.C. = The new State of Columbia..
Replycalling out George Bush while on his press tour…priceless.
Reply🤷🏼♀️🤷🏿♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏿♀️
so they are hoping a jewish person can convince the nazi’s to give people of color equal voting rights? not a believable script.
Reply“Our President is pandering to the fringe interest group of Human Civilization..” It’s sad when that’s actually an accurate assessment of our situation.
ReplyThe police create more victims than they help.
Replydesalination plants around US coastlines would suck up ocean water which is rising = jobs jobs jobs
Replydon’t rebuild old 1950s roads and bridges, so last century
oh you ran out of ideas because corporations sucked up your creativity? how about stick bicycles to top of walkway flat escalators to move you from home to work places
Please say “Haha! Dangly Parts!”
ReplyI will non stop post this until seben colbert says it!
Fuck Susan Wojcicki and fuck conservatives!
ReplyFuck Susan Wojcicki and fuck conservatives!
Replyif you care about climate change you should watch cowspiracy and seaspiracy on netflix <3
ReplyShe was the one who called the police and they killed her.
ReplyLove that this is not letting GWB get away with it. Yes, we remember your misinformation, George!
Replycome on people she was about to stab two people. I look at the facts and that’s not relying on a taser for a life a death scenario. Tazers aren’t meant for a literal 1 second decision.”Tasers are not for deadly force situations,” said Eugene O’Donnell, a professor at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. “The only time the police need to be shooting is when there is an absolute matter between life and death. It’s not a tool for apprehension.”
ReplyThis is the best!!!!
ReplyYeah. Almost every time the white guy with a gun is taken alive. The unarmed black guy is killed
ReplyIf Washington DC gains statehood, let’s all agree right now to spend the extra two dollars on a new flag Made In The U.S.A., and not a cheap one from China!
ReplyAnd America is back in the climate accord until the next president takes power in 4 years and reverses the whole thing but I guess it’s better than nothing.
Good job America.
You’re better than nothing
Reply“I was walking around Foggy Bottom….”
Reply😆😆😆 🐶
Is a taser considerably less accurate in a life or death situation.
ReplyInarguably “yes”
I love that TOTN holds Bush accountable while other shows interview (forgive) him.
ReplyBullshit to the response a tazer would have been the better reaction: the girl was ready to stab another person- the Cop did the right thing. unfortunately it proved fatal. She initiated the attack and was rendered the appropriate response to protect a potential victim!
ReplyThe police officer involved in the fatal shooting of the 16yr old girl is nothing short of a hero. He saved a woman’s life with only seconds to react. He did not have the time nor opportunity to employ a taser (in which you only get one shot- if missed it would have resulted in a murder). Anyone who reviewed the video would realize this. *The officer saved a life*.
ReplyOh from what I’ve read Bush was a real weak minded fool. He let Cheney use him to get back at Saddam. They used Bush like a puppet and his father gave Cheney the green light to do it.
ReplyLove the fake images that look really really real.
ReplyOn point.
Why have so many media sources completely lost their collective minds? The whole Bryant scene, unlike pretty much every single other policing issue that has gone viral, has absolutely no legs to stand on. Someone who assaults someone, then stabs at another while the police are on the scene, even when told to stop, is an open-and-shut case for the use of Deadly Force. And with all respect to the Congressman, he has no clue how useless a taser can be in this situation. It’s a compliance tool, not a “stop badguys in the middle of a deadly assault on another civilian” tool.
ReplyYes Bush did an awful thing and his paintings won’t change that! Perhaps one day he will acknowledge how big a mistake he made!
ReplyOH god, now someone has a knife and its not a life and death situation for the cops. Whats next, the criminal has to actually shoot (or stab) first before the cops can do ANYTHING? Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. As with everything, the hate against police doing their jobs is going too far…
ReplyThese episodes are just jam-packed with solid gold nuggets of funny!
ReplyThis congressman is very charming! 😍
Reply“…we’ll be in your Emergency Room any day now.”
Something to look forward to!
ReplyYEY..FARMWORKER IN CONGRESS!! WHAT’S UP HOMIE..!!? …ORALE WE HAVE ARRIVED! A CHICANO ON COLBERTOONS!!!
ReplyThere shouldn’t be a population in the capital. Washington D.C. was specifically established as a neutral territory to house the federal government so that no one state could claim the seat of our democracy as their own and subject it to their state laws. It therefore by definition cannot ever be considered a state. The only people who are supposed to be living in Washington D.C. are the elected officials (and possibly their staff) while they serve out their terms, and those officials remain residents of their home states during these terms of service. They pay taxes to those states and vote in elections in those states, and are supposed to return to those states once their term of service is over. At no time do they become “residents” of Washington D.C., nor should anyone ever be considered a “resident” of the capital. All other federal employees and staff working in the capital not serving a specific “term” are supposed to live in the states surrounding Washington D.C., making them residents of those states. That is where they are supposed to vote and how they obtain representation in the federal government. Washington D.C. isn’t supposed to need representation in Congress because by design and definition it is not a state and is not supposed to have any permanent residents. The problem here is not that the people living in the capital don’t have representation, but that they were allowed to live in the capital to begin with, a place that by definition is not a state and thus cannot have representation. Thus these people now find themselves stateless. I don’t know what the solution to this problem is. It would be cruel to force them all to move to an actual state to regain their representation, but the solution also cannot be to make Washington D.C. a state.
ReplyHere Comes TOTN:
“Congressman, can you assure our core lobbyist viewers that Joe Biden has not lost his mind?”
The Brian Stelter, Donna Brazille and Claire McCaskell knock-offs were perfect commentators!
Thanks TOTN Team!
ReplyA lot of pro knife wielding maniac sentiment in the cartoon news.
ReplyHe says they don’t want to augment violence in their society, with dangerous conspiracy theories. That sounds miles away from what China is saying right now in Hong Kong. Not. There are jokes here mocking the WMD evidence Bush and Co presented years ago. Still no jokes about what they did to the towers though. Maybe it will be a Chinese comedian 20 years from now. We shall see how the fortune cookie crumbles.
ReplyIs it me or is it weird that a bunch of cartoon journalists are doing a way better job than real people, and manage to get politicians to talk to them is just the cherry on top. Great job writers!
ReplyI miss laughing at him as America’s President.
ReplyBiden’s great but he’s like eating an orange after brushing your teeth, you need a few minutes before you really taste the orange.
Thank you. Thank you for this.
ReplyThe incredulously fueled anger behind this is refreshing.
ReplyThe bit on Kirsten Sinema about put me on the floor laughing
ReplyOkay, Now I’m waiting for legions of cops to storm the capital this time around. Or to just start conducting their own Order 66 against all citizens…just like now
ReplyWTF!!!
ReplyWHY THE HOUR LONG COMMERCIAL FROM A PIG WITH LIPSTICK?!?! (Pailin)
If every cop had a taser, the number of people who dropped dead from heart attacks would be an acceptable number to the US population.
Reply“Shut up or I’ll shoot you dead.”
ReplyThe #1 deescalation sentence.
“What’s troubling . . . the capacity for people to spread all kinds of untruth.”
That is literally the most honest this POS has ever been about himself
ReplyAs a CT native who still resides in the State. I & others like me still have a strong memory of how *Joe ~the sellout~ Lieberman* left the Democratic Party to all sudden “Independent” cause he couldn’t win his election. Then he started hanging out heavy with the John Beanor & Paul Ryan kissing their butts 🤮🤮
ReplyWow way to try to spin the situation to make black people feel unsafe
ReplySo if we don’t want to be attacked by the government do we have to support Biden or the democrats I just want to live in peace I won’t say anything bad I don’t have a gun or exercise any of the other rights I don’t have I’ve seen how the police and government can just do whatever they want and there’s nothing you can do about it what do I have to say to remain safe and free with some semblance of privacy
Reply“upon ariving on scene the police officer attempted to deescalate the situation by intruducing life and death stakes” the way she delivered it was perfect.
ReplyBiden thinks it’s climate change when he wets his pants.
ReplyScience based… I’m weeping with relief!
Replyif the Dems have the ability to get dead people to vote for them, why don’t they get dead Senators to help them turn Washington DC into a state ?
ReplyI think “No taxation without representation” should go the other way, too. If you’re not paying taxes, you shouldn’t get to participate in government.
ReplyLMAO
ReplySentient speed bump. I feel seen!
Reply1100 people were murdered by US lawenforcement last year. GB, with a population of 1/5th of the american had 22 people killed by lawenforcement. In the last decade. IF the US had the same amount of people killed by lawenforcement pr. capita there would be 11 death every year. American lawenforcement literally kills 100 times the amount of people as GB lawenforcement. Lawenforcement in the US is indisputable incompetent, racially biased and lacks real accountability.
Reply0:55-1:25 – none of this is worse than actual shit Marjorie Taylor Greene has said.
ReplyThanks for taking the time to make a joke about a life or death decision by a hero cop
ReplyThe cop could have literally yanked the girl back. No one shot Kyle Rittenhouse while he carried a gun and murder 2 people.
ReplyThis is satire? Could’ve fooled me
ReplyThat part about the cop is BS like he stopped and paused the world so he could think about options of what to do with the girl who had a knife trying to stab another two girls!! FU*&K that BS, Black lives matter and I don’t want anyone to be killed, but if my daughter is about to get stabbed by another girl… ANY COLOR, I want him to take that shot, if a white girl is doing that at my daughter, SAME RULES apply!
ReplyAndrew Yang waiving down subway trains had me laughing.
ReplyHow’d I take so long to discover this channel…..I 💘 it
ReplyI want these people to deliver my NIGHTLY news! Their honesty is so refreshing ✊🏻
ReplyIf you want to pass anything just call it a trump plan pretend you hate it and watch the cult go all in the reluctantly pass it
ReplyBush complaining about misinformation is ironic since daddy bush helped end the fairness doctrine
ReplySatire works best when it’s specific and true. This is why this show DOESN’T work.
ReplyReducing emissions is important. But altering our current agriculture and meat industry paradigms is also key. Our current approach destroys all the CO2-absorbing qualities of the earth we farm.
ReplyAlarmist continue to spread the lies that we don’t need coal or oil. We will need our coal and oil as long as the wheels of progress need to be greased. Burning coal for heat is no longer necessary with the advances that have been made. But we will need the products made from them. So coal mining Will Go On, and the oil production Will Go On.
Reply#CARBONTAX #CARBONTAX #CARBONTAX
