Michael Lewis explains why Ben Bernanke and Hillary Clinton were wrong to bail out the banks.
It’s Capitalism/Reaganism (US Fascism) that’s the mistake.
Omfg….scummy economics >.<
The mistake is voting for the same failed 2-party system of endless lie-based war, poverty, pollution, and eradication of human rights. Most Americans don’t vote. Of those who do vote, the majority of them don’t even register as Democrat or Republican anymore. And polls show the majority of voters want an alternative option. Yet unfair election laws, media bias/media blackout, and an uneducated voting public perpetuate the failed 2-party system charade.
You should include Michael Lewis in the title. He’s done much more than just write The Big Short. I know it’s relevant now but he’s a celebrity in literature world.
STEPHEN SOUNDED LIKE PALPATINE AT 0:48
Stephen’s Hillary bias shows once again. He falsely claimed that Hillary wants to break up the big banks (she takes their $$, she won’t do it), but failed to mention that Bernie Sanders (who was on the show) actually does want to break up the big banks. BERNIE 2016 #FeelTheBern
the pen slowly rolling off of the desk from 2:28 is really unnerving
Stephen is advertising the shit out of this movie. First Carrell, main actor, then Adam McKay, director, then Michael Lewis, the writer. Who’s he gonna have on next? The Big Short’s costume designer?
02:27 That pen chose the easy way out.
Bernie Sander Bro, what do it next time. Do it now..
bernie sanders will break up the banks
The banks wouldn’t have had to bailout if Rich just gave SweatyCowNipples their 200 cucumbers.
Well, whatever we didn’t fix, and we didn’t fix anything, it’s coming around the corner to hit us harder. Soon.
Michael Lewis is the man. Go read Flash Boys and Boomerang ASAP!
That pen was having the time of its life, I’m sure. :)
Yesterday the director says banks are too big to fail due to the way the system works and world chaos would follow if they were broken apart. Today the writer didn’t share the same doom and gloom but did point out that lobby money keeps these people running banks. The Animal Farm quote “All animals are equal but some are more equal than others” keeps repeating in my head.
Of course on a video where talk about economic disasters brought about by government doing too much, Bernie Sanders is still getting complimented.
I’m not supporting anyone in this election, but good God if y’all don’t see how fucked that dude’s policies are, especially in a deficit we’re in already.
Oh well. Old news.
