ReplyOh my goodness! I clicked on this video unwilling… and that’s an understatement. I was so irked by the “I could care less” title. I sat here and cussed to myself, aloud, for a whole minute before deciding to click. After I managed to get in I was relieved. Then the “3 a.m. in the morning” got me riled up again. Thank you for addressing these things. Next time you could add that “to” being used where “too” should be is unacceptable, so is “your” when “you’re” should be used. Well, I shouldn’t expect anyone to bother with “‘re” if “n’t” is too much. What can I say? I’m as irked as you are Tariq.

Reply“I could care less” is an American habit that irks the rest of us. Outside the US we say “I couldn’t care less”.
Reply[edit]: David Mitchell does an excellent breakdown in a video called Dear America, which demonstrates “I could care less” actually implies you care, not the other way around.
