Wow, I dunno why, but seeing Martin (Short) after such a long time reminded of Captain Ron for some reason. F– I’m old.

If you watched the first Letterman show, you know that Steve Martin is/was the best talk show guest of all time.

Ageism isn’t the LAST acceptable prejudice. Bill was just bashing fat people, not that long ago, and felt perfectly justified in his assumptions and assyrians…..Just saying.

I don’t blame the boomers for the issues; the problems that we face are because of our obsession with wealth accumulation at the expense of others. Being wealthy is not inherently bad but if you are consciously taking advantage of your workers then you have no right to be in business. Conscious capitalism is the only way to go and until we are willing to move away from the profit motive thought system it will continue to get worse. Even Maher has mentioned that things like the healthcare industry and education system should not be a for profit system.

I often tell kids “there were times when I was young, too” haha you should see their faces, they realize that yeah old people used to be young like they are, at some point 😉 and that some day they will get old er
