Every night before the show, our host takes a few questions from the audience. This time, he shared some advice for a newlywed couple, and weighed in on an existential question: what’s up with Chicago-style pizza?

Stephen Colbert has been wanting the Prez to call him out, I am quite certain the last statement he made will get him a mention
ReplyHe reads, quite a bit, that says a lot.
ReplyToo short
ReplyFirst Trevor now Stephen. We love some casual talk time
ReplyActually, getting Trump back as a guest would be hilarious…. And get him in the personal space as well….. If his head and hair would fit in the box.
ReplyWE NEED MORE OF THIS.
ReplyI got to work with Jon Batiste on a recent episode of “Live From Here”. As I was helping strike the show, wrapping up cables, putting away mics after the show, we were philosophizing about how Improv and jazz are not just about “getting there” but “getting there together”. There’s a click when Masters recognize themselves in each other. We spoke of #Flow and I talked on how #Pinball is a form of Jazz. When I Play Pinball I can enter into a flow state where time dilates, reality bends to my advantage and I experience a loss of Ego as I become a facilitator of flow. I created Pinball Comic Books to teach Pinball at a readers speed, using corporative language to teach you how to get to the Wizard Mode and what to do once you get there. Pincombo.com also has a Comic Book Guide to the Selection and Use Of Microphones with our host Elvis Canaveral.
Reply“I have no idea what this means, but I’m so proud of you.” You have a wonderful wife and, ultimately, a wonderfully success marriage, Mr. Colbert. We love you 3000.
ReplyThey’re doing everything they can to make people forget about what just happened.
ReplyI like that when questioned, Stephen sits in the Guests’ Chair.
ReplyPerfect H2G2 reference in there.
ReplyI think these Q&A clips would be great as a YouTube channel exclusive. Kind of like Between the Scenes over at The Daily Show’s channel.
ReplyMan, is Colbert ever charming.
ReplyDon’t mention the one that didn’t come back…
He’ll want to beat Obama’s numbers!
ReplyYou are dangerously awesome!!!
ReplyI loved the last joke/question.
ReplyMore of these please! I love it when Stephen talks about his life, he’s almost always more interesting than the guests.
ReplyStephen and the team WE NEED MORE OF THESE. COME ON. DON’T. BE. WEAK.
Reply0:49 my reaction when stephen quotes stuff from LOTR ???
THIS IS SO FREAKING BEAUTIFUL. May you play this clip at your friend’s wedding.
ReplySaying “Sorry” saved my marriage more times than I know… and by that, I mean there were plenty of times I had no clue what I was supposed to be sorry for.
