Jimmy gives Shaun a gift from his son Billy who had the same heart surgery that Shaun had, and Shaun talks about meeting some of his younger competitors, what makes snowboarding more difficult as you age, falling on his last run and finishing fourth, contemplating a return and the idea of retiring, going to the Super Bowl, an old interview from his teenage years where he claims he was drinking Mountain Dew, cutting his hair because of Carrot Top.

My family & I met Shaun years ago at an event in Chicago & he was the sweetest, friendliest soul! It’s been amazing watching his success throughout the years.

I didn’t know he was so young! I’m only 3 yrs younger but he’s so epic and hugely talented that he seems older and more experienced. I totally get why at the beginning they mentioned how the announcers acted as if he was Bob barker

Shaun White is a better-looking version of Chip from the ’60s TV show “My Three Sons.”

I can understand the spelling irregularities involved with “Joseph/Joe” and “Thomas/Tom”, but I’ll never understand why some English-speaking parents prefer to Anglicize the Irish name “Seán/Séan” into “Shaun/Shawn/Shane”; if they love the English language so much, why not stick with their native “John”?

No one does that with the Spanish name “Juan” (“Wahn/Won/Hwohn”?), or the French name “Jean” (“Zhawnh”?)… I have seen it done to the Italian name “Giovanni”, (“Jovan/Jevahni/etc”), and of course the Greek name “Γιάννης” will be transliterated in different ways, according to preference (“Yanni/Johnny”), although I must admit that I’d be disappointed if my parents deliberately and intentionally spelled my name as “Jewseppy/Jizzeppi”, or something silly like that.

Shaun white is a hero to gingers and not-exactly-Americas-expectation-of-handsome, men everywhere.
Ya…I know knee jerk disagree comment people.
You’re going to argue and say that “what are you talking about, he is handsome”. But you get the point. He’s not Ryan Reynolds or Gosling. He’s not Chris Pratt, Pine, or Hemsworth. But he still has his own form of sexy that he owns and gives encouragement to guys like me.

You can spend minutes, hours, days, weeks and months overthinking the past. Trying to put together pieces, imagining what could’ve been, should’ve been or would’ve been. Or you can pick up the pieces off the floor and move on as a stronger, smarter person

I am making $162/hour telecommuting. I never imagined that it was honest to goodness yet my closest companion is earning $21 thousand a month by working on the web, that was truly shocking for me, she prescribed me to attempt it simply ,
