I full-heartedly agree with Seth Rogen about what he said about palling with Ted Cruz or posing for a picture with Paul Ryan. I symphatize with some people who feel like one should always be nice and build bridges etc, but that’s just not right. I understand that some people are naturally so affable and friendly that it is difficult for them not pal with deplorable people when they behave friendly on an occasion and that fine, but as a general rule, when there are unmitigatable political conflicts, it does not help at all to be nice and friendly with people on the opposite side. In some instances, it can hurt your cause.
