Neither Manchin, Biden or Bernie Sanders would be relevant in politics in ten to 15 years. But a lot can help struggling Americans, especially American children, what is in this 3.5 reconciliation bill.

Manchin is truly the Grinch who is stealing Americans’ future.

Corrections: You mention Senate Democrats and have a graphic which includes Angus King, who is an Independent. Yes, he tends to vote with the Dems and caucuses with them, but he’s still an Independent.

In Afghanistan, the Taliban gives women 90 days of paid maternity leave, while in the US, even Biden’s pitiful proposal of mere 28 days of paid maternity leave is already dead. I guess America is just too poor to afford that.

Does anyone know what the US budget was for 2019? 4.4 trillion. Or about as much as both the infrastructure bill being proposed and the budget being proposed. In fact the revenues for 2019 were roughly 3.5 trillion which would mean if we passed this current budget being proposed and got those same revenues, we would have a balanced budget and perhaps even a surplus. Yet the “fiscal conservative” republicans claim that this budget is too big and an example of socialism run amok. These are the same republicans that passed the 4.4 trillion budget in 2019 and failed to pass any infrastructure bill.
