Any plans to interview a Republican? You seem to disproportionately interview Democrats

Sorry, Tammy, but exploiting those deemed “lesser than” is very American. Wish it wasn’t so, but it is.

Supported employment also exists to help those with I/DD be as successful as possible in newfound employment. Subminimum wage should a hundred percent be abolished.

What’s her stance on mandates and EOs in a constitutional democracy? We depend on comics for the hardline journalistic duties to be carried out because….we aren’t a very bright people.

Curious how Medicaid eligibility, it’s lack of expansion in some states, and years long waivers, also pushes down wages for people with disabilities for fear of inadequate healthcare coverage. These low wages enable some to still qualify for social security disability and thus medicaid. Are private employer’s healthcare plans adequately replace medicaid coverage.

A person is paid what they are worth. I know many people with disabilities who make + 100k. The ADA mandates people are paid the same as if they were not disabled. People with mental disabilities basically have little talent, skill or dexterity and therefore earn what their menial jobs demand. This is wht there are SS disability payments made to offset the lower wages. Most time these people are working just for their own desire, and to feel useful. They are not doing essential work.
