ReplyThat’s not how tax credits work. You don’t get $7,500 off the price. You get a $7,500 tax break on your annual tax liability when you file your taxes. If you normally get a refund, the credit does nothing for you. If you normally owe taxes, the credit is great. You need to adjust your tax liability for that year to take full advantage of the credit.

Reply6:11 note… it is the global market keeping prices high… we produce more oil domestically but use NONE of it… if we nationalize our oil, there goes the ‘petor dollar’… what the sec of energy is describing is how we are getting grandma’s ‘head’ stone… right in the tank. our whole monetary system depends on the world trading U.S. dollars for oil…. only way to kill the planet killer is to stop burning things!!!

ReplyI’m confused… Where are they getting the electricity from to charge electric cars? How is it produced? Coal…Gas…Nuclear…? If they’re using fossil fuels or nuclear then what’s the bloody point?
