Sean Hayes Surprises Nurse with a Quarantine Wedding – Supported by Life is Good

Published on July 24, 2020

Our guest host Sean Hayes honors #HealthCareHero Lucio Arguijo, a nurse from Santa Maria, CA. Lucio and his fiancé Ian had to postpone their wedding due to the pandemic, so Sean surprised them with a wedding, their dream rings, their favorite musician Cam, and $10,000 thanks to our friends at Life is Good.

that was nice.. My older son is also a nurse out there in California. He tells me of the long shifts and also under-staffing and and doing other jobs besides nurse.. He is so busy that he’s rarely available to even call.. I miss that voice of ‘doctor’ who is always asking what the latest blood levels are. 🙂

Yay! A nurse saving lives and a host spreading joy and love. It’s nice to have a break from feeling so cynical all day and just enjoy their happy moment. Breath of fresh air.

I want to see thise rings!

They dont look like they really wanted that. I know its meant to be a sweet surprise but maybe they would rather have waited to have their special day as they planned and choosing rings is a very personal thing. Doing this steals those planned moments from them. I know it was done with good intent but you can see that this is not what they wanted but they felt pressured. Its always so presumptuous to impose this on people. It made me sad seeing them have to do this or feel rude.
