I mean every 2000’s kid thought Sarah was pretty bad ass. Shes barely aged seeing her now. Still very funny and smart. Keep up the good work I’d say! Knocking it out of the park.

The best thing about Sarah’s counterargument is that it’s self-defeating. The reason you don’t remember your partner’s number is much simpler than the fear that feeds it. You don’t remember it out of convenience because it is so accessible elsewhere.

Likening a person to something a farmer might encounter in their fields, being told not to be a “bold stump” as a child sounds like you’re being called particularly defiant/troublesome/stubborn/problematic/precocious etc.

it seems “stump” is one word in Ireland that means very unintelligent or foolish, so don’t go around being a bold stump acting all brazenly moronic i guess

Kinda interesting guest choice for Conan on the podcast — the ‘backstory’ to 30 years of interviews is so long and intricate that they’ve reached an awkward stage in the unrealistic environment of showbiz when they appear together. There’s a tinge of “stayed too long at the party.”

With some guests it’s an interview about them, but it’s interesting that many comedians are just “on” all the time and reveal nothing about themselves. Sarah’s interview reminds me of Kevin Nealon’s.

Sarah is an enigma, sometimes I am enamoured by her and other times she is like fingernails being dragged down a chalkboard
