A classy answer. I think Kim C got up caught in the headlines & placed blame on a person who didn’t really do anything to prompt those headlines. The work far out weighs the drama for sure.

I believe kim absolutely 100%. The fued already begun right at the end of the series finale and let’s face it, she did the 2 movies just for us diehard harcore fans not for SJP or the team and u know what, good for her for not doing the 3rd movie. The writers already ruined her character in the 1st 2 movie.

Well Andy helped there a little… Kim Catrall added that she ”wished SJP was nicer” that wasn’t adressed

She didn’t just say that, she also said that SJP could have been nicer to her.

I’m having a hard time believing SJP was the instigator in all this. From what I’ve read, she has a sterling reputation. Even Robert Downey Junior still speaks highly of her, and they broke up decades ago.

Kim thinks too highly of herself. But hey, she gets press when she needs it right?

    Such bias bs.
Everyone knows how deep of friends Andy and Sarah are. He just loves stirring up trouble between women.
If Sarah really cared, she would call Kim, they would squash it.

What Kim actually said and Andy should’ve asked is “what did you think of Kim saying that you could’ve been a nicer towards her”

I think Kim Cattrall has been very level-headed and reasonable throughout this whole thing and Sarah Jessica Parker needs to stop stringing fans along about a new movie. So the two weren’t friends in real life. That doesn’t necessarily mean there was drama on the set. It just means that they maybe don’t have much in common outside of the job. I like both of these actresses and I think the media’s just trying to stir things up about a show that’s been off the air for years now. (As for any new SATC movies, I wish they wouldn’t. They’re sort of tarnishing the legacy of the show.)

Kim is just butthurt Sarah made more than everyone else. Well, she’s the star of that series, what do you expect? Besides she had been famous for atleast 20 years before the show started and the other 3 were definitely not as well known. I get why she’s bummed because yes after doing a show for 6 years and 2 movies you deserve more for such a famous character coming to life but how is that Sarah’s fault?! Idk, I think the drama of it all is ridiculous and childish.

Kim is totally reasonable to not want to beat a dead horse. They worked together for so long and did two movies just move on already.

I seem to remember, before the deal was in place for the 2nd movie, Kristin Davis went on an interview and threw “shade” at Kim Catrall, saying “the 2nd movie would be happening sooner if it weren’t for someone being so stubborn.” That was Catrall not wanting to do the sequel, but instead of hashing it out with her, her own castmate decided to throw shade at her in public. I got the impression back then that was a common occurence between the women, with Catrall getting the beating. I think, out of all of them, Cynthia Nixon is the most level-headed.

SJP, girl, stop! You are coming of so petty and desperate. I loved the SatC series (own them), but the movies are horrible atrocities, and no one wants more of them! I respect Kim for knowing when to stop. LET IT GO. Sheesh.
